a legend in his own mind LOL
Seriously though... I dont care how someone dances as long as they are dancing. I cant stand wallflowers at clubs. If you dont go to dance go home (or go to a gino bar). Or if you are a music enthusiast go off to a good corner and listen and get out of the way of those who want to dance. |

yeah you can ... i use to do all the time. just have to be smooth at it. Shuffling is just a double step of kick stepping w/ repeating of body movement of your last move, you need to switch it up or you look like your doing the advance running man.
You gotta do things smoothly and lightly ... i've seen ppl kick step and make the whole floor bounce. It's annoying when your dancing next to them and your off timing b/c of the floor bouncing.
to test your kick stepp if it's proper ... do it on a carpeted floor. |
I've only seen you dance ONCE:sadgreen: @ Koolhaus like 2 years ago & you have AWESOME moves...Next time I see you ya gotta show your dude:tongue2 |

yeah i agree on the dont care how you dance part, but whatever they come for shouldnt be our concern.
Either way as long as i am minding my own buisness and with friends, dont care.
i could care less if you were the greatest dance knew all the fancy steps, or could break your body to the music:D
bottom line is you had fun |

| unless they are standing in the middle of the dance floor. Those are the people i cant stand. I refer to them as pylons. |

I ing hate it when people make the floor slippery !!!! :whip: :whip:
Seriously, you don't need a slipperly floor to glide, in fact it makes it harder for me to bust a move knowing that if i go too hard i'll slip and break my back. The slippery floor is only good if you're doing the shuffle without lifting your feet. The second you start to actually hop, that floor becomes a nightmare.
People need to stop -- collaborate -- and listen.. :haha:
Don't make the FLOOR slippery -- just practice your glides and you won't need to make that dangerous for the rest of us.
I remeber seeing a dude doing some awesome slides (glides - whatever you wanna call them) wearing Tim's -- on concrete. You definately don't need less traction if you got the machanics right.

Naw man, all i want is a floor where i'm not afraid to move around on...the slipperly floor is just dangerous that's all. I don't mind if it becomes a little slippery or sticky - cause that's bound to happen naturally over the course of the night.
I don't like it when people purposely drop water so they can glide (and if they really must, then i prefere they stick to that spot and not move around too much).
I've never really understood why a slippery floor is a good thing. It's like dancing with your socks on, yeah, sure it makes it easier to glide -- but it's not how you gonna learn. I've had some near falls on slippery floors and lemme tel you, that's not cool -- especially when you're buzzed and not expecting it.
Slippery floors < Sticky Floors ( Although i'd prefere just a normal, dry dance floor surface ) |

| I prefer a non sticky floor too but if I encounter a slippery spot I just find a dry one...Also, if the club is rammed then the ceiling starts to "drip" water from condensation & that is hard to control. |
