What the heck is "quickstep"?

^^ Emery, jungle dancers kick @ss but they can't compete with some of the people (moreso girls, but some guys too) I see at a good breaks event...

this is very arguable and is a debate that has been raging for a very long time ..

not gonna say whether either is better.. however i've been blessed to see displays of sheer elegance at both

basically my life changed when i saw this girl bustin a move in back room @ system, breaks event.

never have i seen something like that, horny and happy at the same time :)

it's true, i feel more drawn to girls that can dance then to eye candy.

dancing cleanses my soul; i need to be able to loose myself. if i can't dance, it's pointless for me to be there cos i have a better time chillin at home and listening to my own tunes.

that's the whole point of going out though, for me at least. if a dj knows how to push my buttons, esp. through proper programming skills, i'm in heaven. :D

What debate ? There is no debate. Good break dancers blow junglists out of the water. End of debate. :D

It's definitley awesome seeing guys and girls busting their dance moves and getting right into it.

Like techead mentioned, doesn't matter how hot or not a person is - or how good or bad they dance - at the end of the day it's ALL about the PASSION & VIBE for the MUSIC - not about who is showing off their porn star moves.

The crazier the music gets, the crazier I get! I'm sure everyone's legs have suffered, and almost collapsed on many occasions from so much dancing, but when the music is so rocking and gets you so pumped up, it's all worth it.

;) :tongue2 :whip:

right if ur talkin all out break dancing

right. ;)

Hard to compare the two dance forms otherwise. Junglists dance at quite a frenetic pace, whereas most people who dance to breaks ( not bboying ) usually do a combination of popping-locking, liquid and glides.

Bottom line, both clans represent on the floor...

As do the House dancers....

Even seen some Trance heads break out with some funky moves ( yeah, i'm talking about the glowstickers & photon crews here )

The only one's i'm skeptical about is the hard techno crew who to me just jump up and down on the spot ( kinda hard to do any moves when the beats are roaring at 140 bpms )

tho it can be done nicely with techno .. ala. Melbourne Shuffle style..

ahhh remember the days of the BLC parties of old .. everyone would bust a move, cept for all the kids who had OD'd ..

the average bpm for breaks played at clubs is around 135-140

however it has more of a rhythm and u can pick ur groove to each track so u dont have to follow the "umc umc umc umc" routine....each breaker just picks which beat they wanna groove on.

damn i breaks
