Disappointing TOTA Behavior (pg. 13)

I am thankful that my reputation (and most other TOTA's reputations) speaks for itself (themselves). My (our) contribution to TOTA and TOTA members has always been positive, encouraging and supportive. My (our) intentions have always been noble in nature. We know who we are.
I sincerely hope that incidents like this do not happen in the future – humans deserve to act with better behavior, better judgment and total courtesy. |

I am truly touched by your explanation RJ and I just showed this to Ali (he's been reading the forums lately) and he believes that TOTA needs more ppl that share your view bc at the end of the day our actions; verbal or physical set either a negative or a positive example for ALL TRANCE ADDICT members not only TOTA.

My thoughts exactly Margaret! I strongly support your point about rude ppl being notified of their rude behaviour. If no one does it, then this type of behaviour will never end, and most of all no one will never set an example for the future members of TOTA especially the youngins!!
Since March 2005 (when I joined TA)I have noticed a trend in most threads, please correct me if I'm wrong. When someone sparks a debate on a problematic issue, it seems that a lot of ppl will join that person in expressing a similar perspective. So in essence, why are there are only a few members of this forum that will truly speak their mind about a certain topic and my question is directed to those who either feel threatened, uncomfortable, or just don't bother voicing their concern bc its ONLY the Internet??? and what are their reasons for not raising issues concerning something they don't like??? |

Nada, you couldn't be more right.. imo, I think there are people on the forum who acutally fear saying things due to what reaction it may bring. There have been some pretty strong things said in the past about topics and personally, sometimes I choose to say nothing at all due to the fact I don't want to deal with the reaction or drama it may bring. I can't speak for others on the forum though, just myself! |

| I am quite new to TA but no stranger to human interaction and I read my fair share of threads and comment on a very select few...I speak of what I know. In reading some of the recent threads I agree with what RJ is saying. There are some threads that contain a very neagative tone and message to them. I have no pull and my opinion is reserved to those that wish to hear it. I really hope that this is a small fad due to misalignment in the planets or something; and I hope that the people...friends, partiers, music lovers...who use this form return to the origin of this site. To connect with eachother and share in the livelyhood of the electronic music experience. My 2 Cents. |
