hahha that is the most ridiculous thing i have ever read.
to become serie a/la liga or premiership winner u have to play well week in week out. u cannot get lucky and win these trophies, u can get lucky and win the european cup. liverpool a prime example. liverpool will not be premiership champions in the forseeable future or europeans champions again for that matter.
after englands dismal performance agaisnt northen ireland surely terry must captain england now. |

| Why are all chelsea fans so adament that Terry needs to be england captain? Im sure in Svens mind hes still unsure who to partner with Rio: Sol OR Terry let alone pick him as captain. Besides Owen is vice captain which is the stupidest choice ever as that guy has as much motivation and leadership skills as an orange. |

YOU ARE ON CRACK. for a start who gives a whbat sven thinks , he is a knob cheese. rio is well past his best and is average at best. he has no motivation for the game any more and plays for money.sol wishes he was john terry. there is no doubt terry is the best centre back in the country and what better way to lead the country from the back. |

Hey im just pointing out the current situation as it is. I think that Rio is still one of the best defenders in the game. His performances for England dont look all that commited but neither do Gerrard, Lampard and just about half the England team.
Though the best choice for captain would come from one of the centre halfs. If Gerrard could pick the midfield up and drive them on like he does for Liverpool then he could be a contender but not in his current form. |

terry came through the youth ranks at chelsea which is why he is so committed to their cause .. if mourinho realizes that then maybe 5 years down the line he wouldnt have to be changing his starting 11 every year.. maybe he does given how he always runs to the field to make out with terry and lampard when chelsea win
as of now most players are only coming to chelsea for the money and are showing little motivation on the field except cech who is already up there with buffon as the best in the world ...terry, lampard and gallas are the only 3 who start regularly for the squad(besides makelele who has been fantastic) and they were all there before roman took over .. besides them everyone else has to make do with playing one game and sitting on the bench in the next ... not a very healthy thing to do given that the world cup is next year |

| we didnt play that well agaisnt anderlect , was happy that lampard scored , cos of all the critism he has been unfairly recieving. a wins a win. every other team should be scared that we are not out of second gear yet. |
