You're lucky then that your players finally learnt to control their nerves. That was not luck by barça to come serveral times with a man more. It's in the nature of barças play to make other teams tackle alot and thus get cards. Barça on the other hand hadnt received a single yellow card until the chelsea game.
Prolly has alot to do with the english style of play and the level of toleration of english refs. If you dont adapt in europe you're bound to get alot of cards. |

This is no kidding, that was some really dirty there. It would've looked a lot better for Barcelona if they managed to kick Essien when he won the ball and drove it up, crossed it and Terry passed Drogba who scored.
If Edmilson or if it was him, kicked Essien to the ground, It would've been just as dirty as Carvalho's kick, But Essien avoided it. |
