| Great game, and the aggression was expected right from the get-go with the border-line brawl that broke out last season. Honestly, Chelsea were lucky, and even though Arsenal should have dealt with it better, I'm surprised that the fact that Chelsea scored their second by a ball kicked the ball deep into Arsenal's end after they'd put it out for a Blues injury went largely unnoticed. Regardless, Arsenal were just missing that cutting edge up front, and Drogba will put them past you all day if he's given space. |

compared to past Chelsea-Arsenal games it seemed tame IMO |

I would say that it was more down to the ineptitude of the people who create/take chances. They should've been 3 or 4 up before Wigan got a chance, but weren't. |

yea they choked on a couple opportunities and the goalie made some huge saves. it looked like they got careless after they scored the first goal and expected wigan to just role over and die. |
