Ok, well, the week before wasn't so pretty now was it.

sure, the departure of scolari depicts chelsea's short-term mentality, constant pressure to succeed and lack of patience have left the team in a state of hysteria.
Eventhough Chelsea is struggling to climb it's way up the ranks, they should be wary of Aston Villa, who have outdone Arsenal substantially. Aston Villa is up to no good.
In my opinion, the championship will be a struggle between Liverpool and Manchester United.
It's also scary, but if Chelsea does not get their act together they may lose one of the biggest players in history, Didier Drogba.
being a Barcelona fan I would love to see Drogba playing for the spanish squad someday. oh, wishful thinking... |

that guy can be so good some games and then be irrelevant in others. i can't stand his inconsistency and sometimes i feel like he just goes through the motions. |

Scolari canning doesn't come as a surprise. 3 wins out of past 9 Premiership matches wasn't gonna cut it with this squad. |
yeah people don't care about what you say |

I do have to say, you played incredibly well.
Was probably by my viewpoint (as I don't watch Chelsea games I don't need to) one of their best performances in the last year.
You passed well, didn't lay back into the game. And your key players kept their heads on and played outstanding.
Even though I'ma keen Liverpool supporter I enjoy seeing good football too. I'd rather we scored three, but although we didn't, I don't think Manchester United, Barcelona or Real could have had much to say playing against a team playing that well the 2nd half.
Guus Hiddink really got his head round how we were going to play, and although Liverpool had determination and had energy, in the long run if another team can want it just as bad, and has your tactics worked out, it's going to go one way, or another.
I see Stamford Bridge being a good game, I hope we win but if we don't I hope you take that form to the final against ManU. |
