See, us fans, we care about winning, the stats... you dont win... you dont contribute when it counts... you will be on the other end of a verbal lashing.

But... you only really watch when the Yankees are in the playoffs, in September, and when they play the Red Sox. Is that really a "fan?" Let's see you watch all 162 when the Yankees finish in last place, like I had for the last 3 years before this one. You're not a fan if you only watch/care when your team is in the playoffs.

what about me? I admit it, I can't devote myself to watching every game that doesn't make me less of a fan of my team and the sport. I mean I played the game for 15yrs of my life into Div2 College, but now with a working schedule and stuff, I simply can't devote any time to following the sport (fantasy leagues/football betting). I use to bet heavy on football say 2-3yrs ago, ever since then I haven't followed the sport. I'm still a fan don't get me wrong. I enjoy watching games both baseball and basketball, just that I simply can't devote time to keep up with stats and stuff. I can only voice my opinion about my team, I guess that's how I am a fan. Is it any different than what some of you consider fans, I can say a good amount have already demonstrated their depth of knowledge but that doesn't make you anymore the fan of the sport/team than I right?

Randy Johnson
Mike Mussina
Carl Pavano
Jaret Wright
Shawn Chacon

So... the rotation is pretty set. 4 of those pitchers are untradeable without paying their entire salary. And the other one is the one pitcher you wouldn't want to trade.

what about chin ming wang?

We all know that there are some who simply can't devote time to their team/sport. Then there are others who choose not to and show up at their respective stadiums/arenas/fields with their $1,000 suits in October/January/April/etc.

Hey don't hate on corporate perks. How do you think we land a 15,000 unit sale to Amazon at a deep discount? We offer up perks such as Yankee Tickets, U2 Tickets, etc. It's the nature of business, gratitude is expected when people talk business. And on that note, I had the corporate box on the 8th for the U2 concert with a Google Rep (a friend of mine LOL) who was interested in doing business with us (while they were getting sued by the Authors Association) just so I can vouch for the box, too bad a Senior VP from Businessweek took it from me LOLS. CRAP!
