Honestly though, I dont think there is anything worse than going up 3-0 in the ALCS and than loosing 4 straight games - its so bad that its never happened in any sports history.
Yanks might be the 'winningest' team in sports history, but they also hold the worst loss in sports history. :p |
The Cubs haven't won a WS since 1908. They haven't been a WS since 1945. I beg to differ, my friend. |

How does that fit in to what I was saying? |

And... to tell you the truth, unless it winds up:
Angels - White Sox
Braves - Padres
this is going to be a very boring Post-Season. It will be funny when the Red Sox don't make it out of this round and it would add to it if the Yankees don't either, but the Astros v. Cardinals is SOOOOO boring. |

Uhhh... 2000?
And you seem to be pretty bored when the Yankees lose because you don't say anything unless they're in first place. |

I realized it didn't afterwards. Oh well... but it still is relevant to this thread. :toothless |

pisses me off how the red sox were up 4-2 and graffanino let that ball go through his legs... nice move... maybe the boston boys will do good at home and make it come down to a game 5 like they did w/ oakland 2 years ago... but i forget if they played game 5 on the road... either way, they won 3 in a row, so maybe they can pull it off...
hopefully the yankees get beat tonight and the red sox play the angels in the alcs but i highly doubt that's gonna happen...
i say the cardinals are gonna end up winning the whole thing... we'll see though |

Graffanino didn't give up the 3-run Home Run, did he? |

Yanks vs. Angels, Game 2:
E-Rod's Gold Glove MVP-candidate defense helps the Angels tie the game... :p
followed up by great baserunning - but that really was a great pitch-out play that the Angels executed to catch him stealing
After that, the rally monkeys helped the Angels hit/bunt 3 high choppers in a row, leading up to the go-ahead runs
K-Rod gets A-Rod to ground out to end the game
Series tied, 1-1 |

| Those 3 errors lost the game for the Yankees. |

Red Sox have come back from these deficits:
0-2 to Indians in 1999 ALDS
0-2 to A's in 2003 ALDS
0-3 to Yankees in 2004 ALCS
Will they do it again? |
