Yeah good point. and when they're wrong, they don't have to apologize. They just say "Oh looks like that warm front I told you about yesterday is just going to miss us. CLOUDY AND RAIN!" |

| Many times the person doing the weather on tv does not even have a meteorology degree. A famous example is Al Roker. They are just weather guys. Like the hot bimbo that slaps a "sunny" symbol on the wall and tells you to go to the beach. They do not know anything about how the weather works they just read it off a teleprompter. |

BIAP is a little south of where I am... Im up in Taji..(30min north of BIAP).... and i beg to differ when you say weather variaitons as far as the greater Baghdad area goes (also from experience)... dust storms - about once every 3 months, snow storms - none here, rain - 3 days (March 10-11, Nov 10) since Feb 2nd when i got here, hot vs cold... hot 118, cold 50... went 6 solid months with not even a trace of a cloud... 1 month left of this hell hole... new guys are already arriving :D w00t! I wasn't only in and speaking about Baghdad, try going further up north in Mosul or any of the tiny mountainous areas in the north eastern side of Iraq. Snow up there buddy. |
