you mean this one right? ask sam he was in it. we had like 5 or more saturday too.
from 9:30 pm friday to 5 pm saturday was some tense around here. tomorrow i'm going to try to find a volunteer group to help go and cleanup from this. it is so depressing seeing the pictures of the damage. |

Was basically 30 seconds of hell. Nothing of mine was damaged, but I have friends who are without a lot of things. :(
What pisses me off is that the news was talking about CNN, the Georgia Dome, and other stuff in the city, when really East Atlanta was the area which took the biggest hit. |

yah, cabbagetown looks horrible! they have been working in that area for so long to make it look nicer and now this happens. i honestly wanted to look in that area for houses last year when were doing the whole house buying thing. i am ever so grateful now that we went with the north burbs. |

hmm...kinda like how the news talked about nothing but New Orleans when Katrina hit, yet made little or no mention of the southern mississippi coast that got wiped off the face of the planet?
i just hope there was at least *some* warning with this. did anyone hear any sirens go off before it hit?
also, that picture that was posted....people said that the storms that started just east of here that same night looked very similar...saying it looked like something out of Independence Day (when the ships came through the clouds) or War of the Worlds... |

sigh, that happens all too often.
edit,
although i think that hearing a siren would have caused more panic in people, really. |
