| i also enjoyed paul's set, although nothing spectacular but i was bouncing around there at times and i dont remeber much due to my inebriated state, but yelling a few times when something cool would happen...ive never really been a pvd fan but since seeing him in aug and then last night i kinda like his newer techier style....i can see why some of u old school fans are like wtf cause it is much different from a while back...one other song tha wasnt mentioned was dogzilla-without you towards the end of the set...i dug this one alot...but spirits is the kicker here, those ign lasers own and i was happy enough just staring up at them even when the music wasnt on par...siiick for sure...good to see some of you guys also |

Well he rocked the pants off ICE Las Vegas a few weeks ago...it seems like he can have really on or really off nights.
But it seems like lately he enjoys being a little more diverse in his sets...of course that isnt gonna appeal to someone like DA. |

| I dont want people to think that im just hating on the man cause he had a bad set etc etc .. But when the #1 that everyone pays top dollar to see continuously has a bad set after set , then theres something wrong. And yes it hurts me to say that Paul is the #1 dj in the world because he is a trance dj and when people hear him , think thats what trance is really about ! Thats why over the past few years Trance has taken such a terrible blow and a bad rep from the musically educated people.. And unfortunately id have to agree with most of them . if im a huge edm lover but never really heard too much trance and i decide to go see him one day and he plays like that ?? Yes , id definately scratch out trance forever from my list of things to try again . |

There are just NO words in the English dictionary to describe my disappointment...like the big PvD whore I am I can honestly say he was HORRIBLE...For the first time in the history of me seeing PvD live, I LEFT EARLY!! That's right folks I left 30 mins before his set ended because I couldn't take it...I didn't want to believe that was Paul van Dyk, the same PvD who always gives me a memorable experience & the one who leaves me wanting more...
Like Doug said to me, it's like he's doing bad for a reason but I just don't know why...I still cannot believe how bad he did...it's like that wasn't the PvD I know.
I'm honestly kicking myself in the ass for getting there late & missing Edgar because at least I would have had a good time...& for the IDIOT who claims Edgar sucks you need to clean the wax out of your ears because that is clouding your senses! Edgar V comes second to PvD but last nite Edgar was FIRST!
I can say I WASTED $30 ... I still love him because he IS still my favorite DJ & I knew there was going to come a day he didn't do so well but I never expected that bad.
It was like a Radio Fritz set but WORSE! Down-tempo...like WHERE IS THE TRANCE? kind of set.
I hated the vibe at Spirits, a lot of the people were acting so stupid & bumping into everyone like s...I can honestly say that the vibe + the energy has been better at Space IMO.
whatever I don't even want to continue because he is still #1 but there was NO EXCUSE for him doing so poorly.
I wished Eric kept the Blue gig cuz I would have driven my ass OUT of Spirits to SoBe to listen to some REAL tunes!

| Maybe you guys got too hyped up and were expecting awsome tunes and the t/l in this case was probably the same case like when he came in august that I went and the only good thing he played in my opinion was Points of Impact |

sorry to say but i dunno how Spirits is... but i'm sure that it not being 'Space' or w/e had to affect him.
He deserves to be #1 for sure but he needs to be rocking it out more like November!!
i'm kinda glad he sucked though cuz i'm 1 month away from being 21!!!!!!!!!!!
But there is still no doubt in my mind.. his night WMC is going to ROCK :D |
