Well, where can I start? I think the best word to describe last night is DISSAPOINTED. I really was hoping to hear another Aug set from him, but WOW, he killed me!!The only reason why I had a good time is because I was hanging out with all my TA family. It was so good to see everyone again, but it broke my heart to also see everyone's dissapointed and pist off face (especially u, DA . lol) I thought the club was very nice, loved the lasers and light show, and liked the layout. But my God, did PVD suck.There are no excuses for him to play like that, much less housey type stuff. To me it was a waste of money and I would have rather stayed home under the covers and not undergone such a long, COLD walk back to the car.
Koky, I understand what you are`talking about, but we all go to hear PVD not because he is the #1 DJ, but because he can bring it when he wants to. It is not an excuse, I know he is supposed to bring it EVERY time he plays, but I enjoy his good sets like I enjoy my boyfriend's, Eric's, Edgars, and Reliks sets. I go to listen to the music, not see the DJ. I will go to a house party to listen to any of our our own boys instead of a club anyday. But because I LOVE the music so much, I try and go and listen to it whenever I get a chance, and those are very few, here in Miami. Like Doug and I were talking about yesterday, if I would have never heard trance and heard PVD last night, I would have hated it!!! We are all very lucky to be able to hear such good quality music all night long from our own locals.
And one more thing, WHY DON'T THEY LET EDGAR SPIN BY HIMSELF????? WHY THIS WHOLE GA THING NOW???? LEAVE EDGAR ALONE!!!!!! His set was awesome last night, and those two hours were the only good two hours of the whole night!!! He should not have gotten off, and kept spinning all night long. WHY DON'T THEY LET HIM SPIN ALL NIGHT BY HIMSELF!!!!!
But to get off the soapbox,
To my TA friends: You guys made my night bearable, If it wasn't for all of you, I would have left 5 minutes into his set!!!!!

Natalia: THANK YOU for the shots!!!!!!! We owe you one next time!
And once again, always a good time with all you TA's, eventhough the music sucked, it is always great seeing and hanging out with all of you!!!

| i agree, as dissapointed as i was, i had fun and I enjoy any chance to hear trance so loud i have ringing in my hears the rest of the day. If only i could blast it in my condo... |

This is certainly your own opinion. Edgar V has ten times the talent of a majority of the progressive and trance headliners I've seen. On top of that he's very down to earth about his art. That earned him my respect.
