To be honest.
The last 2 times that I have seen PVD @ Space his sets have been getting worse. The only thing that I can assume it that he’s trying to re-invent or trying to create a new image for his superstar status. Whatever happened to the “great” DJ that picks up the crowd at the club dance floor, builds them up and takes them for a trance journey all the way to the climax and brings them back down to the club to say goodbye. The 2nd to last song, wow great track, the last fin track I liked just because of the lighting that I had programmed for it.
I’m not a DJ whore nor do I believe in the whole Super Star DJ thing, I rather see a producer make music live then a DJ spinning other people’s or his own .
But from my point of view last night people did make the best of his set and partied some more anal then other but it was passable.
Why shop around when we have our own great DJ’s here in South Florida IMO=Edgar, Eric and a few others, Acosta sucked, train wreak from hell last night.
Well I hope that you all at least enjoyed the atmosphere @ spirits and maybe suggest someone else you might want to see play there.
Sadly to say, I usually get into a set when I operate the lighting, video ect… but I myself have to take a step back in the middle of the set and wonder WTF?

sorry to say but i dunno how Spirits is... but i'm sure that it not being 'Space' or w/e had to affect him.
He deserves to be #1 for sure but he needs to be rocking it out more like November!!
i'm kinda glad he sucked though cuz i'm 1 month away from being 21!!!!!!!!!!!
But there is still no doubt in my mind.. his night WMC is going to ROCK :D |

The tunes were too predictable. When you cant I.D more than 4or5 tunes in a set more than likely it was an aswome set like back in November he played Wundervoll Must Have Been A Dream (Mac Zimms Remix)and http://www.dreambeamz.com/pvdspace/ID4.wav :eyespop:this tunes they ahd on vid was awsome. And I see that people that went last night people I.D many of the tunes and many were tunes that we have been jamming since like Febuary. |

i said that.. but then again he was in a NEW place.. with DIFFERENT ppl.... let's be truthfull... Ft laud crowd is a bit different than the Miami crowd. But either way..
I still think his WMC set will be just as good if not better than his Nov gig |

Space masters is right. It's always good when you can hardly i.d. any of em. But let's not make this a freaking funeral. I know he didn't do good, but let's just make believe 2006 will be different. I REALLY HOPE IT'S DIFFERENT...........Pvd hardly impressed me last year. Yea i think I went to all his gigs last year and his sets were a little higher than average at best. If one thing can be said about him, it's that he isn't the dj he was when he was number 2 on the list if i'm not mistaken. |

Lets pray were not wrong. So that DA wont be as upset as last night. I think He wont write a review again if this happens again.. |

I agree 100%...I didn't like the crowd AT ALL @ Spirits...It was annoying more than anything. |

just the club feel was an addition to the annoyance. |

yup forget that there a next time or that he will better in wmc. Theres NO EXCUSES. He dissappointed badly. I didnt see the show nor the crowds but noone like the set. the people, etccc...the list goes on and on |
