i thought about what your saying, and your reasoning is flawed. although i respect that paul is embracing superlative technology that enables him to do tricks he would not be able to do otherwise, it doesnt neccesarily equate into a superlative experience, or sound good which is the point. i'll concede maybe from a technical standpoint it was amazing(to an attuned, educated listener like yourself), but call me old school, im there for the tracks not the tricks, although if done correctly definitely heightens the experience. its kinda of like a hooded out car, it probably would be better without all the chrome and 24" rims, my necka. if you dont get what im saying, then case closed. |

| I was so upset that I wasn't able to see PVD @ Spirits, but now I feel so much better. I almost drove my ass from Charlotte for nothin! I can't believe he sucked that bad! DA, I too saw him at Space in August and November, and he rocked! Hopefully he won't disappoint us in March. |

I noticed a few extra sounds and whatnot in certain tracks PVD played last night. It was alright. Overall, his set was disappointing, be it with ableton live, CD's, vinyl, etc. Can't say anything else to make it seem better or worse, it was what it was. |
