one must be really naive to think that his last album would be topped. It included some amazing tunes such as Innerspace, Escape From Nowhere, Save Me, Alone in the dark, Another Dimension etc.
I doubt even L-vee thought that this album could top his last. |

do you go out of your way to say the exact opposite to everyone else?

This album is so unique due to the 3 different styles, One thing I like about albums like this, It doesn't have to be all Trance, I like albums that blends different styles from Trance, Breaks, Techno, And House Music. |

I have listened the album loads of times. Rebel9, I understand that you are not too fond progressive, markus schulz sound etc, but to call the disc one is really too easy.
First off all you really have to hear the cd 1 fully in the mix, cause it really builds up very well. From the massive opener it creates a very surrealistic, dreamy feel, with highlights being the tunes People Have No Care, Summer In and Summer Out in a row. The sounds are really deep, pure and enchanting, yet with subtle melodies.
Disc two is more banging progressive house, although it's invaded by some proggy trance more and more. Some tunes might be a bit boring, but it's again usefull to listen the whole mix-cd, which gives a clearer understanding how the sounds develop and make it actually worthwile to listen.
Disc three is actually not really my type of disc, i am a sucker for chill-out, but there have been better chill-out discs/tracks the past months.
The thing is, listening to 1 minute low quality samples on a website don't do much justice to this album, as the story and build-up of especially disc one, make it one of the most memorable album journey's I had on a personal note.
anyway, it's up to yours to decide, but this is how I see it :) |

| If this album was avialible domestically, This would surely be in my collection, I like what I hear in those 1 minute samples, Even Disc 3 sounds awesome, I like chillout music thats very upbeat with some melodies. |

yeah I know I can't judge it without have listened to the entire album in its full.
Don't get me wrong. I love L-vees production in the past and I rank him among Oliver Lieb, BT, Art of Trance etc as one of the greatest producers within trance. I actually own most of his releases until 2003.
That's why I always have so high expectations everytime I see something new from him. Though his latest releases and remixes have really dissapointed me. And also made me feel sad because I know the enourmos amount of talent this guy actually posess. |

Why does it make you so sad? I can't understand what people are expecting, Everytime I hear something new from a producer like him, I get blowned away, Cause, It doesn't have to sound anything like the previous work, I like producers who try different things in there own productions to create sounds that you wouldn't normally expect from them, Cause lately, a lot of producers out there been using the same technics and you can easily tell when it there productions just be the sounds they use. Though I'm not saying that they shouldn't, As it's my only way of indentifying if it was them, Heh. :) |

| Disc 1 seems to contain some promising tracks, going by the samples: People Just Don't Care, the Antidote collab and the closing track... unfortunately the album (was shipped on Wednesday) didn't arrive in the mail today (I was hoping to be able to play this cd whilst stuck in traffic on Monday), so I won't be able to fully judge for a few more days. |

Because this sound of him is not new. he is riding on the Mcprog sound of Schulz. This is not trying anything new.
It's neither dark or deep as his previous work. It's quite boring and bland. |

what in the blue hell is blowned away :conf:
L-Vee has many aliases & has created many sounds, however he's also created many copies, ripping of sasha - xpander more than once and has gone to dog in most of his guises now, except his green martian one on the whole. He is capable of so much more, and that is why we're frustrated. Heh. |
