I have the feeling I'm listening to an ASOT show...bleh!:whip: I just HATE those "housey" basslines, those slow rythms and all these little "dreamy" sounds who mades the melodies...what the , where are big riffs? HUGE basslines? and fastest bpm?

Because that is what his last album was. If he took your recommendations above everyone would be bagging him for producing the same sounding music as he made 3-4 years ago.

anything, and I mean anything is better than mcprog.
Pillow One
his track with markus sounds identical to James Holden's "Nothing"

Why?

It has the same repeated clap as Nothing, one element of the song, and it becomes a ripoff of Holden? :nervous:

You need to have a re-listen if you think only the clap is the same :stongue:

You know, The problem here is that, A lot of people are not willing to acept the fact that Trance Music is changing, Trance is going to a direction thats comepletely Progressive and a lot of folks here are not willing to acept those facts. I remember seeing an interview with Armin and he stated that Progressive Trance is direction that Trance is heading. I been listening to trance music since the early 90s when it was first created. Over the decade, I noticed the Trance sounds changing and heading to a more melodic style since Trance in it's early days was a very bouncy hypnotic sound. :)

If that is the future, I prefer to be criogenically frozen and only reawakened on a time when that trance is dead and buried.

I haven't had time to sit and listen to the entire album all the way through yet but the bit that I have listened to on both CD's I really enjoy. I have been a fan of Larents work for quite a few years and will continue to remain a fan. How doesn't this album sound unique?.. It sounds like Airwave, and there isn't another producer on the face of this earth with the same sound as his.

Love the CD, I will be buying it for sure...

Direct Quote from Airwave...

"I first make music for myself, if others like it then good, if others don't like it than good as well"

...that is all

Nice one Laurent

I think that's a stretch, overall the sound on the album is his (short of the aforementioned track).

Furthermore, half of the tracks on CD1 have guest producers too. How is that "his sound", exactly?

the funny thing in this topic is that many people here are wasting their time bashing me in an extremely negative way, thinking I don't even care about this, or oppositely hoping they'd hurt me with their quotes. I can't imagine you can waste your time at work or at weekends by bashing music you don't like, instead of talking about the music that you really like, in other threads, or spending the weekend with people you like around you. But honestly, you all made a point here, LOL. You don't like the music?? well, that's excellent for you!! Why do you waste your time bashing me then??

I'm cool with people not liking or bashing me, either way, coz I don't give a about what ppl think of this album, meanwhile I have a lot more respect for the club ppl than many of the whole TA user list will ever have in their entire life.

I have no time for negativity, so I'll stop this here and won't post again, and I suggest my personal haters, whatever your reasons are, do the same, coz this show of verbal violence and bashing won't lead you to a better world in your messy bedroom, really, LOL.

If I wasted my time bashing any other artist, I wouldn't make music anymore by lack of time. Please, guys, let us hear what you can make, we're all extremely curious!! :-)
