Maybe the reviewers would do this if they felt he deserved the praise!
I can see some nice tracks on the album, but it seems that quality has been overshadowed by quantity again.
Considering past works - its easy to see why the album is a disappointment to some - althought clearly its L-Vee trying to perhaps move on, and develop his sound.
+1 to Rebel9 mcprog sux and if top quality producers like L-Vee are jumping on their bandwagon, it can only be bad for our scene imo. |

In defense of Lolo, do you guys honestly think hes going to read a thread like this ...after working so hard for over a year and get a smile upon his face from cheek to cheek? |
read the thread again. he actually replied to this thread.
the reason I was dissapointed was that L-vee msged me a couple of months here on TA and gave me loads of hope about this new album. He said it would be something amazing which no one would expect.
And the end result being this? Seems like not even his new won fans are that excited.
I'm not saying that the cd is utter crap. Far form. Of course he put a lot of time and effort on it. it's just that filling 3 cds with quality tunes is a tough task for any producer.
As I said in an earlier post. I hoped for more collaborations with the old bonzai crew: DJ Fire, Franky Jones, Axel Stephenson, Frederico Santini, MIKE etc instead of the Armada crew. I'm sure the album would have had a more interesting aproach if he had done more collabs with the bonzai guys. |

| Try completely reading my post. Pick one track on the CD that you like, comment on it. If there are no songs on the CD that u like just dont post at all. |

Jeez, what next - the "you have no right to comment unless you do something better" line?
Seriously, is it so hard to understand that negative feedback isn't necessarily bashing? Do you really think we should limit our freedom of speech to only speak when we want to say something positive? |

that defies the object of the forum being for discussion. You have to accept that people, especially ones who've been fans of the artist in the past, will always have (and be just as entitled to airing) an opinion. |

so people who have listened to the cd and didn't enjoy it at all shouldn't express their opinion?
is that fascism reborn?
ever read CD reviews in magazines? there are often albums who are totally ripped apart by the reviewers and given zero grades. |

So we should never criticise anything? I'm completely neutral to this release as i don't like trance anymore lol, but let's make up an hypothetical situation: my fav producer releases an album, i have huge expectations for it and it turns out it's complete crap. Now should i not comment on it at all?
If anyone had this sort of attitude the board would end up dumbed down, with every single thread filled with "great", "awesome", "10/10" comments. Some sort of a teenage candy kid meeting where everyone is on E and wants to hug every living being. Sure, TA goes many times over the top with negativity, but excessive positivity is just as bad. And it encourages the producers to release mediocre music. |

well...i dunno...sorry, just a bit annoyed with the whole "mcprog" thing dont know where it came from ..or why that nickname even stands.
(it probably annoys me even more because I am on Armada and fall in t othat little "category")
I have tried something a little different and more innovative with my latest remixes and productions...so we will see..
I guess this just re-enforces how much of a warzone TA is. lol
Maybe I shouldn;t have even said what i said earlier (on second thought) haha
:) :) :) |

Really, how could it be a coincidence? It's practically the same track. Maybe it's "irony" as somebody pointed out earlier in the thread :p |
