well personally I think it is a bit strange she would say that when it doesn't seem like it was something Richie was quoted as saying directly, but hearsay. She gave this interview in french so I am confident she understood what she was implying by saying Richie considered her the best dj to book in the world!
If he thought that highly of her at the time I am surprised they didn't seem to work or tour together.
Anyway, back then I thought she was an exciting dj to watch, so I am sure the promoter was impressed and she put on a good show... just thought it was a bit funny she said that. |

| Richie likely didn't say it in french, and I bet the promoter didn't either, so there was a translation somewhere along the line. |
