This will be something I'll be picking up when it gets released - Jeff Mills 10th year anniversary DVD of The Bells! I just picked up the record release too. :D

10 years ago Detroit techno artist Jeff Mills released a track that was going to be his biggest hit ever: The Bells. It has really stood the test of time, because in those 10 years the fast record playing Wizard had a lot of changes in his style but always seemed to be able to find a gap in his sets to fill up with The Bells. This february he celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Of course this causes to release another vinyl, but Jeff Mills also made two single DVD's. One will be released in a signed limited edition of 18 copies exclusively at the Axis Shop Live in London. The other DVD will be for sale to everyone. These will be his third and fourth DVD releases after The Exhibisionist and Three Ages.

Also be sure to check out his European The Bells tour. To find out where he will play check out Axisrecords.com. On the 25th of march he will be performing at Paard in The Hague, the Netherlands too.

omg...I had the opportunity to hear Mulero in person on x-mas eve...I was friggin exhausted by the first half hour...it felt like I ran a marathon and I was just sitting down listening! He plays too hard for my liking.
Kate Manus
I wish I could have been complaining the music I heard on NYE was too hard.. would have probably experienced that at Extrema!

Mulero is playing the night before Preach as part of the friday awakenings lineup.. I hope to see him someday.
Kate Manus
I just read that some techno/electro promoters in Scotland held their last event on NYE.. here are some sets up for grabs on their site.. I am downloading the Henrik B set now!

The Gayle San one is good.. heard it a long time ago.

Friday tribute on livesets.com is for the Space Djz :D

nice Friday afternoon beats.. :toocool:

" This friday's tribute will be to Ben Long and Jamie Bissmire, a.k.a. the Space DJ'z.

There are few Dj'z and producers in the modern techno world who can truly claim to have pioneered a style and sound, and call it their own. Such statements are often declared, but rarely justified. In the case of Ben Long and Jamie Bissmire, the names behind the revered Space DJ'z, this claim would be unarguable. Ever since the pair's formation in the early 1990's, their unerring ability to fuse raucous techno with their life long love of Hip Hop, has set them aside from their peers."
