Is that Rush?
Skipper
yup

The beyer set only downloaded as 30 mins long - odd.
Kate Manus
I noticed a lot of the sets posted from the festival last year were also 30 minute ish length.

I wonder how annoying the MC will be this time.. but I guess he has the right to be since it is his party!
Skipper
I only skimmed through it but I didn't notice any MCing, surprisingly.
Kate Manus
flyer for the party I will be at this friday... hehe.. the promoters throw these parties under the name 'robots' and each flyer always has a robot or two!

I was pretty disappointed with Marko Nastic's set actually... I have been a fan of his since he was just starting to make a name for himself several years ago, and what really drew me to him was the energy in his sets, tribally beats and his own productions which rocked... so it was a nice preview to hear him play them before they were released.. anyway, he is obviously still talented, but this mix really didn't excite me at all.. I wouldn't even say it was a minimal set, more just.. slow techno? If his productions to come are in that set as well, I doubt I will be buying any.
I wonder how long he will be on the Kne Deep roster or if he decides to go somewhere else.

Gayle San on the other hand.. delivered the goods as expected! I don't hear enough sets from this lady, but she reaffirmed her spot as my fav female techno dj for sure.

On another note - the same promoters throwing the Joel Mull party in NYC this weekend have Dominik Eulberg booked for the end of July.. I think this might be his North American debut! nice to see promoters keeping it fresh!

Gayle San was one of the first dj's I was introduced to when I first started listening to techno. She is very impressive for sure!

I am starting to get pretty excited though. Dance Valley has a number of amazing dj's that I am hyped to see. I think that I am going to be very overwhelmed this year trying to fit everyone in. I know my for sures that I have to see though so those dj's come first :)
