William, the bike expert who lives at my house has informed me you have a "crap bike".
But I don't know anything about bikes either. :conf:
Anyway, just thought I'd tell you that, . :whip: |

There was nothing even remotely "minimal" about his set ;)
I'd say there were two very distinct parts, the first hour and a half or so was clearly "Francois Dubois" time, chill, deep grooving house, and the second was very obviously "Funk D'Void" time where he just banged out some SICK techno - it was great :) |

Awesome. Strange though, from all the sets I've listened to, he's more deep and groovy as D'Void, and more techy as DuBois. I guess I need to d/l some more sets of his as DuBois.
At any rate, I'm jealous of your experience...I hope someone brings him to TO. Congrats again on your gig! |

I think people just label his sets wrong ;)
He really doesn't get advertised as doing Francois Dubois sets all too often, and in general - the majority of the sets I have from him (dating back 10 years) have always started off a bit more groovey ane then gotten into the banging stuff (save for a few F. Dubois Promo sets floating around)
:)
I hope anyone who digs him gets a chance to see him - Sasha has officially fallen to #3 for me, the only jock I've seen that's as good live as FDV is Danny Howells :happy2: |
