I'll say it again since you've made it clear you can't read. I'm making an opinion of a guy who complained about his experiences in Lebanon on a letter he wrote to a newspaper. Am I making generalizations? NO. Apparently to you, all letters to an editor are fake and not worth reading. If you want I'll get the name and address of the guy who wrote in and you can ask him yourself if his story is real.
If you're going to say that you don't know if stories are real or fake in the news...give me a ing break...news reports have been found to be embellished or down right lies before and they are by news REPORTERS so don't give me this bull about this being fake.

didn't your common sense hinted you that you shouldn't pay attention to an isolate nutcase?? and when you say you're not generalizing, why are you then saying the canadian govt shouldn't pay the transportation of the lebanese?? because they're all like that nutcase?
Yeah maybe they shouldn't pay transportation for that nutcase, but how about the rest? |

It's not common sense...I'm sharing my opinion of a letter that was written to the editor. Whether or not youthink it's worth your timing paying attn to is your opinion.

No its not crazy, your country is in war you flee. 10-20-30 years later, you decide that things are now peacful to go back and live the rest of your life there. You're still a Canadian citizen and every citizen should be treated the same, thank god we don't have second class citizens like some other backward countries.
The same can be said to the thousands of HKers, Israelis, and countless other minorities here.
Canada takes a gamble when they accept immigrants, some decide to go back, but the majority live and work and pay their taxes here.
When you'll be elected as the next prime minister, change the laws to put an expiry date on citizenships for those who don't pay taxes for a given number of years... and we'll see how that goes. |
