someone from the western teams will win the cup this year!
chimera66
i'm with you on that BUT the Stanley Cup playoffs is not ultra predictable. i mean edmonton in the finals last year was just craziness especially with the top four seeds in the west falling to the bottom four. season ends next week so let the madness begin.
SolemnThirsty
^you are right, playoff is like a clean slate. once you get a hot goalie and team chemistry then it's hard to stop. come down to grit, composure and winning those corner and face off!
chimera66
i've always watched the playoffs on tv so this year i am excited to have the opportunity to be in a building during a series...if the rangers hold on to their spot that is

Question for the experts -> Will Montreal make the Play-offs??? :nervous:
SolemnThirsty
^they won 5 in a row with 5 games remaining. 3 points separate the 6th place team and the 11th place team. its will come down to the very last game of the season :tongue3
chimera66
Well Montreal plays Ottawa, Buffalo, Boston, NY Rangers and Toronto so that could be a bit difficult especially since they've got to play all those games between now and April 7
chimera66
going to take this one game at a time but...

The schedule-makers have done a good job in setting up some of the final regular season matchups

In the East:
- Atlanta vs. Tampa Bay, for the Southeast Division title, and the difference between the #3 seed (hopefully to face the Rangers :) , cuz I think facing the Devils in the 1st round again would be boring ) with home ice, and the #6 or #7 seed
- Montreal vs. Toronto, most likely for the final spot, or to give the Islanders the chance at that spot (if NYI wins their last 2)

In the West, Calgary vs. Colorado for the final spot

If the Habs win against Toronto they are in the play-offs for sure right?
SolemnThirsty
The Nucks clinched the Northwest Division. Playoff show down with the Dallas Stars on Wednesday. Go Nucks Go:crazy: :eyespop:
