I said to myself if we could go .500 on the west coast opener then we could fight for 8th place possibly. With the Kings and Ducks to go we be lucky to get a point. Di Pietro has been great and really ugly at the same time but mostly ugly moments. Its time to rebuild....and im not just talkin the stadium:wtf: :(
Rangers look real good beating the Flyers tonite so do the Devils so it will be a REALLY long year. Go Avs and everyone but the Red Wings & Rangers :stongue: |

The longest recorded string of sellouts ended on tonight. The Av's 487-game sellout streak is officially over, the last time there wasn't a sellout was November 1, 1995.
I want the Avs to prove all the columnist wrong, but looks like they keep freaking losing. W's are what matter and 22 total shots in tonight's game makes me queasy. I'm not happy at all, but I'm in it for the long haul dammit. :whip: |

this is true...the avs draft very well but it's just sad seeing them with 22 shots on goal and yet another loss. i feel bad that steve konowalchuck is gone but if we knew before he wouldn't be playing i'm wondering what the avs could have done to keep somone like tanguay. that trade still bothers me...i'm just complaining they have only played 5 games so i'll hope for the best |
