wait until crosby, malkin and staal makes full contract, the pens won't be able to afford all three! If drury or bierre leave sabre after this summer, they won't be putting points up like they do with another team. |
I agree the points wont be the same but maybe the Gm for the Sabe's will be crafty enough to keep them both by moving a few people around.Hopefully the Panthers will get Brierre, lol.I can still dream. Also i may be wrong but i thought Malkin got a couple year contract when he signed. |

3 shutouts by Turco not enough for the Stars
After 8 scoreless periods (including an OT), Canucks finally score on Turco, not once but twice
Without the empty-netters, it would've been yet another 2-1 result
West matchups will be:
Red Wings vs. Sharks
Ducks vs. Canucks |

There will always be some home games.
The format is as follows:
Game 1: Team A home
Game 2: Team A home
Game 3: Team B home
Game 4: Team B home
Game 5: Team A home*
Game 6: Team B home*
Game 7: Team A home*
* - if necessary
So each team is guaranteed to play at least twice at home. |

i watched my first hockey game last night on the VS network out of boredom. Dallas and Vancouver(i think), game 7.
Wow, hockey is more exciting than I thought.
Powerplays, when the tying puck bounced off the post and when the losing team took out their goalie.
Hockey seems like an adrenaline rush for the spectators just as much as the players.
Is it always THAT exciting or only during high drama games like that (from what i heard they were fighting and fighting and more fighting in the earlier games in the series) + the fact that it was game 7?
i must watch more! |

NHL Playoffs is the best playoffs to watch because they play like 100 game seasons and cant really go all out during the regular season beause they would injure everyone in the league by the end of the season. The hitting is way better in the playoffs they finish all they're checks.Especially now that the first round is over they see the chance of winning the cup now so its all out from this point on.
Actually i have to say in all my years of playing and watching hockey this years playoffs is the most competative by far. There are just so many teams that are close in talent, and determination.Just a few years ago it seemed like Detroit, and Colarado were locks for atleast the second round now it seems anyone could win any series. |

hells yeah hockey is interesting to watch. what you'll REALLY enjoy is watching hockey live. hockey will hopefully continue to be an important part of my life so i'm a huge advocate of people, specifically americans, watching more hockey.
new york - buffalo series is an interesting one to watch, not happy the rangers lost but it's a series and i think they'll play better on friday. watching vancouver-anaheim now and i'm enjoying this but all the scoring action happened in the 1st period...my pick to win the whole damn thing is anaheim because they are too good not to be stanley cup champions, buffalo could meet them in the final though and that would be crazy exciting to watch |
