no offense but you make no type of sense. the only way hockey will grow is if more american viewers take an interest in it. money comes from television viewership and with NYC being the #1 media market in america (most likely all of north america) why wouldn't you want NYC teams to advance far into the playoffs. whether you are a rangers fan or not you WANT them to do well because that helps the entire damn league. as for pittsburgh i just like them and sidney could help generate popularity among youth...i work in sports and try to think of the greater picture not just who i like cause if it were just that i'd be sad cause of colorado |

Too bad not this time. But I'm sure with their young core, they'll be back to the playoffs many more times.
Ducks are the first team in the West to advance, beating the Wild, 4-1 in Game 5, to win the series 4-1. Dang, a fight broke out before the game even started!
Stars stay alive, taking advantage of a Vancouver too many men on the ice penalty in overtime (3rd OT game out of their 5 played so far). |

| Thanks to the Penguins being eliminated, Bettman is contemplating jumping off a bridge right now :stongue: |

he's young
the great ones learn to overcome their obstacles/demons
take peyton manning (finally beating the pats) and michael jordan (finally beating the pistons) for example |

Sen,s are insane and im not even Canadien. If you dont like watching the Senaters play then there is something wrong, they really have some pretty goals,Sabres are great to watch also. With the exception of Crosby,Malkin, and Gray Roberts who is actually one of my fav's alltime they got nobody,Fleury hasnt showed me anything. They need to get somemore skill players so that they can compete because everyone knows the only reason they got in the playoffs was because they had the leading point getter and what many people say to be the rookie of the year in Malkin.Hopefully they can make th eright decisions in the off season.Id like to see them get Briere or Drury who's contracts are up after the playoffs, and i dont see the Sabres being able to keep both. |

| ^^^have you forgotten staal? also fleury is not a bad goalie, he needs more experience and i truly think he'll definitely a nhl #1 goalie. as for drury and briere staying in buffalo probably not but if i were the gm i'd ship them far away...maybe drury will go back to colorado :D |

| wait until crosby, malkin and staal makes full contract, the pens won't be able to afford all three! If drury or bierre leave sabre after this summer, they won't be putting points up like they do with another team. |

matchups in the East are set:
Sabres vs. Rangers
Devils vs. Senators
in the West, back-to-back shutouts (making 3 for the series) by Turco force a Game 7 between Stars and Canucks, and is probably making Canucks fans sweat a bit |
