Internal bleeding pertains to internal organs and stuff, doesn't it?
I don't see how a hemorrhoid would qualify. |
Internal bleeding means ANYTHING that is bleeding on the inside of your body. If you scratched open the inside of your vaginal wall, that would be considered internal bleeding.
A hemorrhoid can be internal. |

My BP was high.
I really don't know what that means in regard to blood loss.
When she took the BP I was shaking and crying, so that may have affected it. ??? |

Well yeah, but what I meant was that usually when medical professionals talk about internal bleeding, they're talking about damage to the major organs and tissues.
Here's the definition from my medical dictionary:
Internal Bleeding [L, internus, inward; AS, blod], any hemorrhage from an internal organ or tissue, such as peritoneal bleeding into the peritoneal cavity or intestinal bleeding into the bowel.
Maybe you're having intestinal bleeding. |

being anxious may affect it but usually not that greatly
if you bleed that means your BP will fall significantly |

Ok.
Seriously going to bed.
I am wiped out, and I have to be up in 3.5 hrs to go to the clinic.
Bye bye! |

Not unless it's going into a negative feedback loop to compensate for the blood loss! |

That's weird about it coming from the nose though too. Definitely freaky . |
Not really. I didn't read the whole thread but, I know that sometimes when people experience intense stress they can experience nosebleeds. I was in a similar situation once and I was experiencing all sorts of weird symptops that had nothing to do with my problem, but were just a result of all the stress I was going through, stuff like; dizzyness, cold shivers, trembling, low blood oxygen (and coming close to passing out as a result). You should totally take this seriousely and get help ASAP, but it might reassure you to know that you might not be in as bad shape as you think - your mind and body tend to exagerrate things in moments of crisis. Hope you feel better. |

Well that would make sense as the blood is coming from the rectum. I dunno...
The nurse said internal bleeding was blood coming from the inside of the body. I asked because I thought that it meant an organ was bleeding too. |

I think it's due to the stress and anxiousness. She hasn't lost that much blood for her body to increase the pressure. |
