many years ago i got into a motorcycle accident. i was going 70mph (for those in backward countries that's 112kmph) and lost control due to some speed wobbles on the front wheel. the last i remember was the strong force of the handlebars moving a little and suddenly them moving violently side.
witnesses said that the bike just flipped over end over end. the motorcycle landed in a ravine after flipping across four freeway lanes. witnesses reported that i tumbled on the road, got up, ran to the side of the road, and collapsed. i don't remember any of this.
the first thing that i remember is a paramedic gently taking my helmet off and asking me my name and other personal details. i kept thinking to myself 'i fell asleep. i feel asleep.' miraculously, i didn't break any bones,although i obviously suffered some ligament damagae and a concussion.
the thing about my experience though, was that i fell into a deep depression that lasted several months. i kept wondering to myself why i didn't die. at no point during the accident did i think i was going to die; it happened too fast. |

Common dude. I just had a night from hell... I thought I was dying, and I don't even have a diagnosis yet, and you come along and say "you're gonna die".
Did you think I was gonna laugh or something?
I understood the joke, but it was totally an inappropriate time to use it.
P.S. On a lighter note, I was thinking how funny it would be if I told you guys that all of this was because I let him go up the pooper.

I said I felt like I was dying. Maybe I am... I don't know. I don't feel like I am dying now.
My health was seriously ed up. Wouldn't you panic if you were bleeding from every orifice in your body? I dunno what is going on.
I dunno, now I am paranoid about sleeping. |

Occrider has a point.
If you came to a logical conclusion that you are indeed dying, based on your medical knowledge and how much pain you were in, there's no ing way you're leaving that hospital.
Unless this is girly exaggeration, but then you'd have to point that out, if you're able. Otherwise you're just pissing people off and making them think you're attention whoring.

You seem to miss the point as well.
I WENT TO THE ING HOSPITAL STUPID.
They were making me sit and wait there, doing nothing for me, for 5-10 hrs.
So uhh, wtf should I do?
Go home and sleep like I desperately need, or stay in a hospital all night feeling horrible? |
