i did not read the whole thread but i've been to guv many times and i know that guv bouncers would not use excessive force for no reason, they are definitely leaving out some other details in their story.

they may yell at you
they may throw you out
they may be unfair
but i've never seen a guv bouncer use excessive force unless you have started a fight or something to that extent.

I dont care what they did or where they wandered or for whatever reason, once those kids were put out those doors onto the sidewalk, the bouncers have NO RIGHT to touch them. They were on public property and outside their territory.

If a police officer had beat up a girl to that extent it would be all over the media, but because it was done by bouncers it barely makes the news. These guys seem to get a free pass, especially at the guvernment.

What must she have done to deserve such a beating? and the other guy too....

They will surely win this lawsuit, and deserve a load of money from this moneygrubbing bull club we all seem to love for some reason.

Bouncers are there to restrain patrons and escort them out the club in case of an incident. This as clearly a case of EXCESSIVE force, should be an easy lawsuit to win for the plaintiffs

but you dont know what happened outside.
how do you know they didnt fight back against the bouncers? just because they CLAIM them didnt doesnt meant that its the truth.

you obviously dont understand the meaning of excessive force.

By law they (as any person, including police) are only allowed to use REASONABLE FORCE....meaning the force NECESSARY in the situation

Dragging down the stairs......fine

Pushing onto the sidewalk.......fine

Maybe a punch in the stomach on the way out......fine

But this surely was not REASONABLE FORCE

there was a big group of bouncers.....they did not need to beat them this badly in order to end the situation.....just kick them out, hit them once, and get your ass back into the club to do your damn job

This story makes me so angry, I hope the guvernment finally gets what it deserves.

Outside is outside... if a random person punches you on the street you are allowed to defend yourself. What makes you so sure that one of the guys didn't try to fight the bouncers outside?? If that's the case then the bouncers have all the right to defend themselves...

exactly.
EvilTree
It seems that whatever justification that the bouncers had, I don't think nothing would warrant this kind of gang beat that these kids got.

Unless these kids were on super drugs that made them to be incredible hulks, I don't buy that the bouncers, who outnumbered the kids, can't control them without dishing out this sort of beating

But we'll see other details of the story as it comes out

Key word.....defend yourself.

What kind of fight do you think this 120lb girl would have put up against a f***in guvernment BOUNCER to warrant him to defende himself to that extent.

Unless she was a black belt in jui-jitsu i dont think she has the power to threaten a bouncer to cause him to beat her like that.

Read the law on self defense then talk.....
Cosmic Fur
lol, I am sure repeatedly kicking a girl in the head while she was down was in self-defense. She could have bit their ankles!

That is if the story is true at all, which I'm not sure it is.

Like I said, we don't know the story... maybe she had an object in her hand who knows??

I'm pretty sure there are cameras outside the guv as well as inside so they must have it on camera...

Anyways i'm not sure where you are getting that she was 120 pounds but thats not the case. If a girl or girl punches me in the face I have every right to drop kick him or her in the head to defend myself (not that I would)...

I've seen a guy up on a bouncers face at Marco V, the bouncer was ready to throw him out but he apologized and they shook hands.

There has to be more to this story and we don't know so we can't really make assumptions...

yup.
how do we know that these three people are actually the victims? because they claim to be the victims? what if these three people are using this situation to their advantage because they see a chance to make money off a big established business (like that lady in the states with the hot coffee in her lap and sued mcdonalds)?

nobody here (including myself) knows the FULL TRUE STORY. only the three people on the news, the bouncers involved and the man above know what really happened. and to tell you the truth, its none of our ing business.
