but what happens on the street is not inside the club. |
I never knew the legal code of Canada applies differently inside clubs as on the street.....
Does it apply differently within a starbucks as opposed to a Second Cup?
The law applies the same everywhere and this was not reasonable force...I know what Guvernment bouncers are like because I have experienced it myself, alot of them are on the ultimate power trip.
The club itself is corrupt as sh*t....why not think that the bouncers would be the same way? |

So many of you seem so quick to step in and point out what a rough time bouncers have on the job... but come on, look at those pictures! Are these people trying to scam the Guv out of a cash settlement or is there a reasonable chance that, for whatever reason, the bouncers overstepped the boundaries and gave them all a pummelling? Frankly it doesn't matter whether they were in a part of the club they weren't supposed to be in, mouthed off, had a weapon, or were killing babies at the time--if these injuries are caused by the staff of the Guv, a line has been crossed.
The way I see it, big security dudes should be able to handle a bunch of kids without needed to resort to the use of such force regardless of what they're up to. Does that girl look like she carries a knife or something?
Anyhow, sure enough--there are three sides to every story. I'm outraged here, but I will wait. Let's see how it pans out. |

everyone knows most bouncers are power tripping small balled losers who take any oppurtunity they can to beat people down. In most cases if you cooperate fully they will be ok since theres nothing they can use an excuse, but if you say even one thing bad like a "" or something then all bets are off.
I dont care if they were trying to steal the turntables from the dj they have no right to beat someone down like that.
Now if they were trying to knife someone, ok fine...but for going into the wrong area, being lippy or even stealing who the hell are they to beat the crap out of people like that? what a bunch of b*tches.
I also agree that the cops are in on whats going on there for sure. Pretty logical to figure that one out.
I hope they get a big fine and fired.
obviously they do serve a purpose and we are all glad they are around bu they overstep the boundaries on way too many occations. |

Pictures can say a lot on only one side of a story. Look at pictures from the middle east, look at pictures of Karla Homolka with her black eyes after beaten violently by Paul Bernardo making her a victim of a vicious husband.... did that change your opinion of what really happened? Why should these pictures? Pictures may speak a thousand words, but are the words true?
I can imagine how painful these bruises are, and I know how that feels, I've been on the receiving end as much as the giving.
The story will reveal itself through time. |

I think you miss my point. Is there anything they could have been doing that would justify these kinds of injuries? Taken in another way, do you think its possible this is a complete hoax? What goes on in the Middle East is incredibly complex; it isn't an apt comparison. There are fewer shades of grey involved in a story like this. |

could anyone verify what happens to you if you get caught selling in the GUV without having permission from the owner. I heard its similar to this. |
I know someone (just by name, not a friend) who got caught dealing there.
they were hauled into a back room by security and threatened with a serious beating if they were ever caught there again. I'm not sure if they were completely banned or just told to stop dealing. |
