Coke Rage?. Drunks i can deal with, it's people who are blitzed out of their skull, who can't say their name without thinking for 20 minutes, let alone co-herently move through a club, that i worry about. |
obviously you haven't smoked a joint..u really should,, sounds like all that coke and booze makes u uptight and hateful.. people can drink, but not to the point where u have to shove ur finger down your throat cause u know ur going to throw up |

I can imagine it... the guv can save soooo much money by doing this.. all they have to do is put video survielence and warn people that they are being videotaped...
for those that disagreee, simply state a time when you needed a bouncer..
whats with this +1 or +100,000 ,, i don't get it??? |
WOW buddy are you for real? a club with no bouncers is like a country with no police... people would do what they want there would be no control whats so ever, and as much as many bouncers are s and ive had both positive and negative run ins with them, most of the time ive only seen them help a situation. I do think that there should probably be stricter rules imposed on them by the club owners as well as the law to ensure that they cant get away with unnecessarily violence.
As for the story, this really shocked me. As much as guv bouncers can be very rude at times, i think most of the time they do a good job at keeping order and protecting people even if this means yelling, or threataning people to get out. Ive never been, or seen a situation where they would be pure violent for no reason. So my guess is either these kids were doing something they werent suposed to, or walked in on somethign they really werent suposed to see. Which is abviously no excuse, and i def hope the bouncers who did this to them get fired, and charged! |

The bottom line here is that while bouncers do have to deal with a lot of rough, sketchy, agressive people, if you stomp someone unconcious you've already long since won the fight. I'll go so far as to say that some people deserve a little -kicking once in a while, but a black eye and broken nose are a far cry from getting beaten dowwn by a gang of thugs. If the fight was bad enough for passerby to call the cops, it's got to be pretty bad.
On another side, if they beat this girl unconcious and left her laying in a pool of blood on the street, why didn't the Guv staff call an ambulance? What if this girl bled out on the street? What if this girl died at the hands of bouncers?
I don'y care if they WERE stealing booze (not saying they were...), this is a totally unacceptable level of force.
Can't wait to see what the cops turn up. Good luck. |

With no bouncers what happens when there is a fight. Say like 5 gangsters beat up on one guy who will save him ? they would beat the kid till they got tierd. |
As opposed to 5 bouncers on one guy beating him until he's out?
Much better... |

i agree and u are probably hit the jackpot by saying that these people walked into something they really weren't suposed to seee, such as a drug deal... u got it dead on !!! they most def walked into a drug deal that went bad.... |

I find it's really hit or miss with bouncers there. You're either dealing with a ing who's probably high on confiscated coke or someone that is just there to make sure everything is cool.
My 2nd or 3rd time at Guv I was caught smoking a joint on the balcony that overlooks the mainroom. I went to hand it to him (expecting that I would at least get it taken away) and he just told me to put it out (and hold onto it).
A couple visits later I got screamed at in my ear inside the drink for falling into one of the elevated platforms next to the vip booths because it was packed to the extent where I was moving wherever the crowd pushed me. At the same time the security guard was screaming at someone else that was sitting on top of one of the vip booths and calling him on to fight (unbelievable amount of explicits were used). This guy was most definitely on something. It was unreal.
I'm positive that these kids weren't telling the whole truth and did something to provoke such an attack. Be that as it may, there's nothing that they could've done that would've needed a reaction like this.
Hopefully things will get better once Canada enforces the new mandatory Security training. |

somebody saying "whats the difference if you beat up guy or a girl"?????? LOL. bravo. |
im sorry, but if ur a guy or a girl and no match for a bouncer, both are equally as horrible and disgusting.
double standards are ridiculous! one is just as bad as the other. either way someone w/ no chance of defending themselves against said bouncer is being pummeled excessively for no reason.
that it happens to a guy makes it no less wrong or ok than if it was happening to a girl! |
