Didnt read the whole story but have an idea of what happened....I wonder if there's any kind of security cameras there that could be used to know what happened outside?

actually it is.

we go to guv. we want to know whether it's the bouncers' fault in this, and whether we might be subjected to this sort of attacks.

true. none of us know what happened outside. are they the victims because they have more cuts and bruises? not necessarily.

if i decide to start a fight with a guy 4X my size and i get the kicked out of me, am i the victim? i dont think so. i got what i deserved.

difference is that if you're a bouncer, you're not suppose to gang beat people, just because he picked a fight. he's suppose to limit chaos in a club, not create more.

I wonder exactly what is canadian legal system's definition of assault is. at least my understanding is that everyone is entitled to use as much force necessary for self defence. no more.

at least, that's my understanding of a bouncer's job.

i cannot disclose any of the information but i can say that the club is actually not at fault. give the situation some time to pan out and you'll see what i mean. lol.

Although I have no reason to trust your comments over the victims, I will out of good faith. Now if you were mexican it would be a different story ;)

So? Just because it happens on the street, that does not give anyone a license to gangbeat someone

From my point of view, the bouncers better be able to come up with some real good justification why they felt it was necessary to beat the crap out of someone like that, and to 'teach the punks a lesson' isn't a valid one

He's still an employee of the establishment, working that night, and as such, represents the Guv. If it were random on the street and he kicked their ass...he'd still be liable for any injuries the other person suffered during their altercation. Even if one of them pulled out a gun...and he kicked the living out of them..if there's no gun..and the bouncer shows no sign of injury while these guys (well..we've seen the pics and vid) have their proof. The bouncer would still be subject to being sued and/or charged.

but how do you know if the bouncers didnt get injured?
i dont know if they did but, once again, you are only hearing and believing one side of the story.

The thing is, we don't have the other side of the story.

When I hear the other side, I'm more than willing to rethink my views based upon the information presented.
