Ouch.

The outcome should be very interesting to say the least

there story just seems so one sided.

like officer the brick wall fed me alcohol than crashed my car. i didn't do anything at all wrong.

i bet what happened was they were intoxicated and were wandering, they were asked to leave the area (probably with a harsh tone of voice). the patrons didnt like it cuz they mistakenly went to that area and begin to leave but at the same time mouthing off and cursing. bouncers dont like the tone cuz theyre on roids and grab the one dude escorting him out. chick doesnt like it and starts screaming and other guy begins cursing at bouncer for using excessive force and getting in his face. more bouncers come to deal with the others and a big shouting, shoving, whatever match ensues.

The guvernment's statement was funny:

'we've never had a problem with our bouncers using excessive force'

hands up for those that have experienced it first hand?

it seems like excessive force was used but I highly doubt the patrons were completely co-operative and I am sure some choice words and violence were used on both sides. I don't tend to believe everything somebody says, especially when they have been drinking.

I agree.

To be honest, never. I've gotten grabbed, held and moved by them, but it's never been excessive because either
a) they didn't use too much force that they hurt me
b) I was dong something wrong anyway
c) I chose to comply instead of pulling a skillton and getting 6 of them to escort me.

b) they deal with a lot of sketch bags, who sometimes need to be taught how to behave in a club.

I love how that's an acceptable excuse.

Hey, I work in a hotel and constantly deal with annoying, piece of guests. Next time I'm taking a 2 by 4 with me to work so the guests don't step out of line.
Orko
OK, maybe i take that back then. It's never been excessive, but definitely more than needed.
DaRoZa
what was going on on that wednesday night anyway?
