I'm sorry, maybe I'm being one sided, but why would security do something like that to just bunch of kids? even if they wandered onto some restricted area... ffs's, it's not a secret air base or something!

and an excuse that bouncers deal with so many sketchbags every weekend is a poor attempt to cover up such doings - what happened with having some sort of professional behavior?

In principle I agree with you. If the three patrons were extremely violent themselves, maybe I can understand, but I find this level of violence a bit excessive.

Now, as for professionalism...well can we really expect such a thing out of meatballs, and meatballs that were hired probably based on their meatballish characteristics.

I've seen bouncers get rough and what not. But typically, and even from my own experience, with a few notable exceptions, if you are just calm and don't throw attitude around, they'll treat you just fine.

You can't really use that analogy. I'm sure your boss hasn't instructed you to use excessive force when necessary.

The guv bouncer see and deal w/ lots of and are sometimes required to use excessive force to maintain control of situation.

I'm not saying its always warranted and that they may use excessive force when its not required, but it is something that is necessary sometimes.

How can you not? Please drop that "guv bouncers see and deal with lots of " BS. No, they're not required to use excessive force. If someone is acting up and somehow threatening the safety of the crowd then kick him out and be done with it. Most of those bouncers don't even have the mental capacity to decide when it would be beneficial to use excessive force.

for those that disagreee, simply state a time when you needed a bouncer..

whats with this +1 or +100,000 ,, i don't get it???

+1 means they agree with the person they quoted, +100000 means they REALLY agree ahaha....but anyways, i dunno if u ever looked around the guvernment and analayzed the ppl there bc i have, and trust me there are plenty of times when ppl needed bouncers there...sketchbags who can't handle their , girls gettin harrased by extremely drunk gino pervs, fights in the hip hop room...i heard about those allll the time etc....just because you never felt like you needed a bouncer doesn't mean they're not needed at all...and the whole camera suggestion...as if anyone would care...especially in a place like guvernment

I understand and agree with what you say, but do you think that someone who is acting up is just going to walk out of the club when the bouncer asks? Especially when they take a swing at the bouncer. that's definitely a no no!

I'm not saying that the bouncers are gods, but they have to deal w/ drunk, sketched out people who may be thinking unrationally and force is the only to somewhat control the situation. Not excessive force, but just enough force to constraint the individual.

Totally I thought it was one of the stupidest things posted since skillton. Without bouncers all the little gangstar wannabes would be out of control, fights, knifes guns etc.
Bouncers do a very hard job, it's not easy to keep intoxicated ppl in line

maybe i haven't clubbed enough, i choose not to... I must be the only one who thinks this.... yes there would be CHAOS, but there already IS !!! don't people get this???? I AM FOR REAL! !! ...thers already chaos in the clubs.... i was once a bartender and as a server you must draw the line and not serve people who are too intoxicated... basically not only are the bouncers at fault but the bartenders are too.. no offence to the bartenders,, i've had no problems with them.

I see your point, but I think you should choose to do some more clubbing, and then most likely you will re-consider your statement. And, yes there is chaos, but you don't know what chaos there really can be if security wasn't enforced...Just curious, have you actually been to the guvernment?
