I believe that they will treat you how you treat them they catch you doing something your not suppose to be doing you are in the wrong and no matter what you say it's not going to change that you are in the wrong. If you co-operate form the get go they'll be cool about some might not even kick you out without having paying them off but if you respond aggressively so will they and something like what happened to these poor kids will happen to you. Think before you act.

holy fuk through this day this thread has reached 13 pages... but in relation to this, i once got in a fight with a juicepig in the drink where many fists were thrown. by the time a bouncer saw it and was after the guy, he was running away. bouncer grabs me and yells at me "let's go get that guy" haha..i was pretty intoxicated and couldnt believe what had just happened and said nah man, im just gonna keep on dancing. lol so the bouncer went off to find him. guv bouncers are actually cool . ive never had a problem with them and have chatted with them often. they only get angry when you think you're tougher than them (which in many cases you arent... unless youre skillton who knows people on both sides of the law)

edit: just finished reading all the pages, conclusions:
jsibilin - ur an idiot, go smoke a joint
Videocameras- they will tell everything. they will be watched come court time. this will tell the truth
Large number of bouncers vs a few troublemakers- at the club i used to bounce at, we have a parking lot that is for the one i work at as well as another bar. this area is always full of fights from people getting kicked out from either establishment. being around 2 am or so, they are usually extremely intoxicated and challenge us on. what would you prefer, 3 on 3 or 10 on 3. obviously the more staff to help the better. perhaps these 3 individuals were throwing stuff at the bouncers, who knows. i know i get raged up when someone throws a bottle at me or takes off their belt etc. so theres no point defending these 3 individuals (despite them looking innocent) until the 'real story'/ conclusive one comes out.

not even going to bother reading anything but the headlines and look at the pics. All i have to say is that although the bouncers at the guvernment keep the club in order they are often unreasonable.

Several people I have known have been thrown out for nonsense. At the same time its ok to buy a pill from the right people while they watch. This is a place of business and many americans come to the guvernment every weekend to enjoy the talent. At the same time the atmosphere is so sketched, i find myself worried about my friends ending up in a situation like this.

At the end of the night I can't wait to get to CZ where i can finally relax and have the best time of my life.

A friend of mine has been warned for weed 4 times in one nights at CZ as well as falling on the DJ booth and interrupting the DJ set sice he fell on the turntables(12/30/05). Never kicked out, never threatened.

TO will never produce a better atmosphere, or better talents anywhere else so the GUV would never be boycotted enough to hurt its image.

Also look at these people. You can just tell they were asking for it. LOL

Once a fat dude passed out on the dance floor of the GUV, my friend peeked through the employee only area and saw him with a stretched covered in bags of ice. at 5 in the morning he was dancing again. Thats what matters. I LUV the GUV

I still giggle when a guv bouncer thought I was dealing drugs, and I was probably the most sober guy in the club
cenik
damn...

the police are paid off by the guv and this case is going to stir up some with that.

the area that they were thrown out of ( im assuming it was the door near the tunnel that seperates the main room from the orangeroom and gallery.) is pretty ing close to where the cops are usually parked near the drink entrance.

for them to not see this go down.... and then respond to the situation in the way the victims claim paints a pretty clear picture.

OH and one time iwas in the right place at the right time and saw a bouncer throw a pretty sexy lady down the stairs at the back of the main room where the bar is, she fell right on her back TOTAL wipeout i couldnt beleive it lol

could anyone verify what happens to you if you get caught selling in the GUV without having permission from the owner. I heard its similar to this.

soo if you ask me should there be bouncers at clubs, i would say no,, because IMHO bouncers get paid to just sit around and grab people and through them out..

don't forget they put their lives at risk to protect people like you. if you only knew the amount of a bouncer goes through every night. i've worked for 6 months at metro and without us bouncers there fights would just get extremely out of hand. hell a large group of people vrs 3 guys. what would happen in that situation if bouncers weren't there to break up the fight. the group of three will get their asses beaten and possibly killed.

not only that they enforce the smoking law, stop drug trafficking and are there to help people should they overdose.

hey why do we need a police force? they do absolutley nothing right? lets just let people steal, murder and burn your house down.
spitty
can anyone tell me where this story starts on this cbc news reel?

thanks!
