YES, i have..i can't say i've been there every weekend of the year like most of u here, but i can account for about a handful of times... I guess my statement is too outlandish, i admit, but something has to be done.. i mean really 10 bouncers???? i have been thrown out, but luckily the bouncer politely asked me to leave and i did so in a calm and efficent manner... soo if you ask me should there be bouncers at clubs, i would say no,, because IMHO bouncers get paid to just sit around and grab people and through them out.. |

of course not. thats why you put him in a choke hold, kick him out and close the door behind you. and if they continue insulting, screaming or whatnot you call the police, thats their job.
no bouncer can do what these guys did, even if a patron swings at you, all that you can do is take him down and hold him down till police arrives. you dont jump on somebodys head for s sake.
i did a short stint as a bouncer, and i remember my training. whatever happens YOU CANNOT take justice in your own hands. and i was so disgusted by their methods that i promised myself ill never do it again, no matter how good is the money and other things.
not even a year ago i was destroyed by 5 bouncers just cause i was talking to one of them. im not gonna say where did it happen, i came up to one of them to ask what time do they close and i was hit in the back of my head by another bouncers, fell down where they pummeled me, stomp on my head and my stomach till i was out cold. bouncer that i talked to tried to stop them but even he couldnt do it. like a ing animals, when they smell blood they cannot stop.
and you know what was their explanation???? "well you look intimidating and we tought you're gonna hurt our colleague."
so please stop with the "oooh who knows what they were doing" bull. even if they did try to steal, even if they did try to fight them they didnt deserve ing stomping on the head.
somebody saying "whats the difference if you beat up guy or a girl"?????? LOL. bravo. |

Yea I was talking to that bitch on facebook, she's a bit too stupid for her own good, but she did get a good ass kicking.
My version of her story is: She was sketchy, did something stupid, bouncers tried to kick her out and she started acting stupid. |

I don't go to guvernment - I actually don't like it. So, please, don't assume that this is what all TAs do in Toronto is go out every weekend.
Bouncers also do jobs like:
1) Take care of people who OD or are drunk and passed out
2) Make sure there are no fights
3) Deal with theft issues
4) Make sure people don't jump over the bar and start stealing alcohol
5) And, many many many other things
In fact, my friend had her purse stolen at guvy last time we went there and those bouncers were with her all night trying to keep track of people with extra purses on all exits and entrances, as well as kept her company and were very nice. I guess those were the normal ones, but I know there are a bunch of s there, too.
Regardless, there are a lot of those people who abuse their jobs, but they have other responsobilites, too. And,not to have them there is like not have a dj at the guvy. |

BTW I wasn't "intoxicated" when I got myself kicked out of the orange room. You can ask the cops in front of the drink to confirm that. |

That only happens if they do something something to deserve it, and if you do something wrong the bouncers need to deal with you, if you resist they need to use force. |
