Like I said, we don't know the story... maybe she had an object in her hand who knows??
|
If she had an object in her hand that could have hurt the bouncers then they were obviously not doing their job in the first place since i believe they are supposed to check for that before patrons enter a club. |

I'm amused by how many people are using the information in the 'victims' statement as pure fact, ie 10-3, the beating was from stomping till unconscious, the cops accused them...
Really this is a 100% one sided statement, and you can assume it is as biased as possible. Its totally useless until the Guv makes a statement as well, then you can pick your sides.
edit: and i know its a very old link, but clearly its not all confiscating and assaulting that the bouncers do...

someone should change the title of this thread.... to boycott the GUVernment..... because the whole time i thought this was a facebook about boycotting the GOVernment.... so i assumed it was a ridiculous topic and just didnt bother reading it
and btw, bouncers are dicks, even if these people did 'mouth off' a bit, they can use force, aka. grab them and take them out.... they dont have to beat the out of them, would like to see some criminal charges against bouncers for once, would send them a message that they cant just abuse their power and get away with it |

don't forget they put their lives at risk to protect people like you. if you only knew the amount of a bouncer goes through every night. i've worked for 6 months at metro and without us bouncers there fights would just get extremely out of hand. hell a large group of people vrs 3 guys. what would happen in that situation if bouncers weren't there to break up the fight. the group of three will get their asses beaten and possibly killed.
not only that they enforce the smoking law, stop drug trafficking and are there to help people should they overdose.
hey why do we need a police force? they do absolutley nothing right? lets just let people steal, murder and burn your house down. |
first thanks for starting this thread... i am the only one who thinks there should be noo bouncers.. and it's something that i think will never happen. It's because people steal, murder, do drugs and get obnoxiously drunk... i agree, , and also bouncers are people too - soo that makes them like every other tuff guy or druggie or theif...i think the new system the goverment is going to do is get better background checks, drug tests, and most importantly mental health checks..
and i'd like to add that if u see a bouncer, do not talk to them, do not make eye contact.. simply move and keep moving. |

The first time I went to the Guv, Chris Sheppard was spinning (was RPM). I never got kicked out, never had any issues. I was once questioned for drugs, but it was only because I looked suspicious putting away my finger LED lights (long time ago!) when I did liquid when it was cool.... You only get thrown out if you're being an ass. If you don't give a bouncer a hard time, you won't get one either.
I am grateful for the pat-downs going into the guv. I am glad they are throwing out s, so I can enjoy my favourite music and dance with my friends safely. Over the several years going there, most I've seen kicked out deserve it. Some got thrown out because others started it, and the bouncers had no way of knowing who started the fight, so it's sad but understandable.
I am at least glad, for as a person who is there without a huge ego, that it is a place where I can go and enjoy myself safely, without worrying about s.
If you get thrown out, you deserve it, just as any other club.
Thank you Guv for some of the greatest times of my life. |
