Actually they do have one withe HDMI out and it is called PACE(no Iam not talking about the HDPVR),good luck trying to get one of those,99% of the time they are out of stock.:p

Also Pace has some problems and most of the times it does work so well for example:

-remote usage is eratic, sometimes it doesn't pick up keystrokes at all, very annoying
-pressing settings sometimes brings up guide. try it again, settings come up.
-some channels come up blank, no video, no sound, flip channel away and back again and it works
-flipping between HD and SD doesn't give you the real mode, just normal and zoom, unlike 3250HD, so you don't know if you're in 480p or 480i.

SO to be honest stay with the the box you have now until they resolve these issues.

what the hell are u talking about?

go to futureshop, bestbuy, 2001 audio video.

now go look at a 46' lcd and a plasma or any size for that matter. the plasma is always cheaper. u dont know what ur talking about.

and LCDs have awesome black contrast, its very dark and their is no need to scarifice buying a lcd worrying over a lack of black.

The Batchelor looks so much more dreamy and real with plasma TVs, they take less weight from the purse, however you need The Batchelor's money to run it. Meanwhile you can snuggle up close to watch the Young and The Restless on some better TVs.

way ahead of you on that one brother. My friend owns a store out in by Vaughn, we are testing a PACE box there on a 40" XBR2, the box has caused nothing but PROBLEMS! that's why I quit looking for those boxes even though I know they are next to impossible to find. So would it kill them to find someone who will make it? JVC? Phillips?

Currently doing component on the 3250HD, can't complain, freezes once in awhile but at least I don't have it at the point where I wanna pour hot candle wax all over it..."have you seen what wax does to components?????" LOL oh Dane!

A 42" plasma that has 1080p is typically more expensive than an equal sized lcd.

Panasonic 42" 1080p Flat Panel Plasma HDTV** (TH42PZ77) regular 2199
Sharp Aquos 1080p 42" Widescreen LCD HDTV** (LC42D64U) regular 1799

Those are both middle of the road 42" TV's. You'll notice that the plasma is more expensive, contrary to what you spew on about.
Let's look at the top end TV's too.

Pioneer 1080p 50" Plasma Widescreen HDTV** (PDP-5010FD) regular $6000
Sharp Aquos 1080p 52" LCD HDTV** (LC52D82U) regular $3499
Sony Bravia 1080p 52" LCD HDTV** (KDL52W3000) regular $2999

You're really out to lunch trying to argue with no leg to stand on. Right now today, the average plasma TV will produce deeper blacks than the average LCD. This becomes even more prevalent when you're viewing off axis. This isn't up for debate. Do some research, you'll be enlightened. Another topic not really covered is viewing angle. A plasma TV has a far far superior range of viewing angles to a LCD TV. A plasma looks just as good at 40 degrees off axis, where as a LCD looks like complete gash.

The gap between LCD and Plasma has closed dramatically in the last few years. However, plasma still has the edge in many areas. If you're gonna be strapped down to halo3 8hrs a day, or watching in direct sun with no curtains, then LCD has an argument. Without those factors why don't you go in and actually use your eyes. You'd be surprised what they see.

As with everything else, it's not the guy with the biggest toys (tv, car, gadgets) that wins the girl, but rather his attitude and skill with women! ;)

didnt read anybody elses posts and just chiming in here :B if you can afford a pioneer tv they make the best hdtvs bar none and should check some audio/video sites that review the stuff they literally have the best technology for hdtv/quality .. but with that said... any decent brand will do good as long as it does 720p/1080i/1080p (only get 1080p out of things like HDDVD only if u have a player dont think many exist right now)

if u wanted a cheaper option to LCD/plasma theres always DLP which is much cheaper because it uses a bulb in the back but depending on the company if you were to get a crappy one the bulb is likely go burn out within a few years then ud pay a few hundred to get a new bulb.. but colours/sports on dlp is awesome.. plasma also.. should really goto a shop and get one of the geeks to show u the different variety
