See, you're missing the point like most everyone else.
It wasn't religion that drove this guy to kill his daughter, altho its linked to his beliefs...
It was EVIL that drove him to do it...it (evil) just drove him to do it by blinding him thru his religion.
All evil really did was trick him by making him believe it was ok to do so |

I don't think they are making this a Muslim issue. Very few murders occur in Mississauga over the course of a year, so it is strange to see it in the news. I believe they are just giving a motive for an unexpected, and unusual case. In this case, the motive seems to be a disagreement over religious views.
It does not seem the media, or our society is 'afraid' of Muslims here in Canada. Yes, I have heard of it in the States, but it seems that most people here understand that it is a few bad apples which spoil the lot, as is the case in most situations, regardless if they include religion or not. |

May I take a moment to remind everyone that 'Good' and 'Evil' are absract concepts...'evil' doesn't make you do anything. 'Evil' doesn't actually exist, it's just a word.

exactly! evil and good are concepts/ideas.. so now you have an individual's free will to choose between whats evil and good. based on that, you react. in this case, the father sides with evil(killing her) which in his mind is good(because she is disrespecting islam), and kills her.
