Yes that's true. I'm just working out on pure simple logic. I certainly hope I'm wrong and they tour again soon, although I'd hate to see them become a fad and rather wait 'till things cool down from the hype.

Your logic is correct though, and the same could be said about their album releases as well. Homework = 1997, Discovery = 2001, Human After All = 2005, ???? = 2009, if they keep this pace up...

ohbeone: I'd like to inform you that you're pretty much in the lead for the "TA Cretin of the Year" race. It's pretty much between you and the "Deadmau5 deserved the BP Influential Artist of the Year Award" guy.

Congratulations.

It would be really great, though I doubt it. Due to them being on tour so much lately, I doubt they've had much time to really sit down and work on a new album.

EDIT: Guy & Thomas are getting up there in age too. So you've got to wonder how long they are going to continue making music.

Part of me already is dead inside knowing that they'll never bring the Pyramid back ever again after their Alive 2007 tour.

So there goes 1 of my 2 things that I wanna see before I die.

1 - Daft Punk live with the Pyramid

2 - Daft Punk live
Corey
yeah :whip:

Ummm, it's a good point, but to cantradict it took only six weeks to produce Human After All, remember?

Plus, I don't think they're getting that old at all. Thomas is only 33 and Guy-man is only 34. Compared to guys like Diggers (41), Sven (43) and Laurent (42) they're still young guns, and the latter have been touring non stop. There is really nothing stopping them from continuing; it's really all up to them.

I really hope they don't decide to stop anytime soon.

Good points. However, I do know Guy-Man recently had a baby, so I wasn't sure if he's going to be more Family oriented and less music oriented in the future. Time will tell I guess.

Honestly though, I really hope they work on their next album for a little bit longer than 6 weeks this time around (that is if that make a new one at all). Human After All was a good album, but both Homework & Discovery were far superior in my book. Both of which I'm sure they worked on for quite a bit longer...

Totally agreed; and I didn't know Guy-man was a daddy now. Congratz to him! :)
