Wow big ups to Sweds from Edmonton. He introduced me to daft punk live. He burned me the Bercy, Paris set. Un effin believable. Just threw daft punk into you tube wow amazing never would i expect that from them. Since i was first introduced to them on much music (canadian music station) i was into them way back god knows when (97)when da funk came out and that walkin dog was oh so trippy. But i feel i might have missed them live. I am from canada and A samll metropolis called CALGARY never do i expect them to come here but wow is it now a goal of mine to see them. The lighting the sound there remixes how seein them live is way diff then i ever imagined. Any comments any one ever been to one of there live sets? Anyone curious ? You tube daft punk live. LA seems to be a good set ender. Any comments are openly welcome.

daft punk is getting a lot of attention now that all the scene-kids are using them as a crossover point

All I know is, I could kick myself for missing them down here at BANG last year. :whip:

I had a similar discovery of how awesome Daft Punk live show is AFTER they had a concert near me...  If/when they tour again I'll do everything I can to see them. Unfortunately I doubt that they will ever tour with that same setup again. Maybe something better?

I don't know if I qualify as a scene-kid, but recently I found out about the mid-90s track "Musique" thanks to an Ian Pooley set, and it kicks way too much ass.

It was the B-side to Da Funk, and one of DP's best tracks by some distance.

Easily my favorite from them - we heard it quite a few times last week in Amsterdam and I was a fanboy all over again.

I wasn't very impressed with their "Daft Punk live" cd that came out last year. Doing every song as a much up got really annoying and sounded really weak imo.

they do amazing things with lights holy ... they know how to give a good time
