Good ing grief was this painful to read.

Since everyone seems to be playing relatively nice, I guess I'll just go ahead and break the mold - ohbeone isn't coming off as an "oaf" at all, he's coming across like a complete ing idiot.

I'm sure you all can see this plain as day though, so maybe I'm just playing captain obvious here.

YOU

, even some friends who listen to reggaeton are like "zomg...daft punk rocks, HARDER,BETTER,FASTOR,STRONGER...like Kanye West!!!"

You've got it totally out of context. Go to the top of page three. Look at what I said in the quote and what he said afterwords.

I stated I believe techno can be used as a broad term (which I still believe). He stated anyone who thinks that is a tasteless oaf.

It was not an isolated use of 'oaf'. Seriously I can't believe the crap you and others assume about things. It's an attitude I've seen on what seems to be about 80% of posters here at least. It's even coming from you. You keep arguing with me that I wasn't insulted and trying to tell me how I'm wrong, it's silly etc etc...sorry. I don't believe I'm wrong in thinking that techno can be used as a broad term. I don't think you are wrong if you think it can. It's really not an important issue but others seemed to think it had to be, to the point of throwing insults. That's just weak.

Looks like I'm one of the few over here who totally agrees with you.
How many people call an offroad car like a Suzuki Vitara, which I own, a Jeep, while everybody knows the only real Jeep is the US Jeep brand. Nowbody over and over keeps correcting people about that.
There are more people in Europe, (especially Germany, Holland, Belgium) which call music Techno where the term isn't properly used then there are people who know the true meaning. I also don't see why the music played at the massive Love Parades in Berlin during the 90's couldn't be called Techno, when even the producers used this term.

Okay, enough of this, because people probably are going to tell me again to stay on topic.
