RJT, you've pulled out all stops.

I feel like I'm watching Scrubs, and you're Dr. Cox. |

It really seems like your best bet is to just stop playing the attention whoring dyke card and move back to New York already so you can continue doing nothing for yourself and maintain reliance on others to take care of you.
Time to cut your losses and run back to mommy and daddies teet. Your time playing dress up with the other lipstick lesbians is over, hope you enjoyed it. |
this
guess you are going to have to stop being a kid. |

However, if they were to threaten to kick me out or something of that nature then I would accept it and do the necessary things in order to survive on my own, similar to what Barbina should be doing in this situation.

Far, far, far, easier said that actually done.
I know if I had to pay regular rent on my own in LA I'd live in an absolute apartment and probably have to get a roomate as well. |

| for many people getting a apartment is just part of growing up too. Those experiences can lead to many people getting suffeciant motivation to take their lives to another level. Sometimes struggle is nothing more than a pre cursor to success. |

I'd prefer to live at home with my family and pay 400$ a month rent and help out around the house, leaving more of my income to use on other things, than have to be scraping by barely able to afford food even with 32k salary. Even a decent studio in LA is like 1000-1400$. Soon enough I'll be settled on what I want to do with my life and get out on my own, but in the interim this is quite nice.
Also, just because someone lives at home doesn't mean they're sucking nipple. It's not always black and white. |

This, however, is:
So sometimes it is black and white, and sometimes it isn't.
c0r Summary: It's not always black and white, but sometimes it is. |

And if you were studying on top of working, you could kiss goodbye to any kind of social life too. BUT - You could still do it on your own. Just barely, but it's not impossible.
Barbina, sorry to hear about all this. If you were a Canadian citizen, then I'd agree with a bunch of folks here and say "Just get a job, work your ass off, and screw your folks" but since you're studying internationally, you're kind of ed (unless you can find enough 'under the table/cash work' to sustain you - Good luck with that). |
