Thats what I used to say.. bashing me/ania because our parents pay/paid for school really does nothing but make you sound like a whiny jealous little bitch. "poor me, I had to do it on my own without anyone I was poor meh meh meh". off. I didn't choose my family and neither did any of you. |

I feel really bad for spoiled kids though.
I have a friend whose parents both have PHDs and make -tons of cash, they pay his appartement, his food, his expenses, everything. He's not even greatful for it, he pretty much treats his mom like . He's completely helpless in all matters of daily life, never had to work a single day in his life and has no concept of the value of things.
I on the other hand grew up out of poverty. I was raised by a single mom (not a very wealthy one either), I had to work hard for every single thing I have. It wasn't the most pleasant upbringing, but looking at that spoiled friend of mine, I can get more out of a 500$ paycheck than he gets out of the 3-4k his parents spoonfeed him every month, and I am very greatful for that. |

You can't put us all in the same category, though. Since I graduated high school in...2003 I haven't asked for a dime from my mom. Oh wait, yes once. I was interning, working and going to school and interning got in the way of work ( and without my interning hours I couldn't graduate) and I was short for rent by a few hundred one month so I asked for that money but that's the only time + i paid her back. We're not all ****boxes. |

what are you on about?? I learned a lot..about money, life, how to get money, where to not spend it. I have a very educated mother who taught me what money was. I wasn't stupid and reckless with money. I spent it when I needed to and I saved it when there was no need to spend. You just generalize and assume when really.. you shouldn't.
