what's their alternative plan for your life if not just trying to wreck it?
Perhaps this has gone beyond the point of no return in regards to any form of dialogue and negotiation but if they are just trying to cut you from what you are doing are they offering viable alternative options?

I have never really had a choice when it comes to what I want to do with my life. My parents want me to stay in their pathetic small town, marry some guy, have 5 kids and be a housewife... which is obviously not going to happen. Unless I listen to them they will disown me, which means no family contact, obviously no money or support and a whole lot of drama... sucks big time |
