And if you were studying on top of working, you could kiss goodbye to any kind of social life too. BUT - You could still do it on your own. Just barely, but it's not impossible.
Barbina, sorry to hear about all this. If you were a Canadian citizen, then I'd agree with a bunch of folks here and say "Just get a job, work your ass off, and screw your folks" but since you're studying internationally, you're kind of ed (unless you can find enough 'under the table/cash work' to sustain you - Good luck with that). |
Yeah, and I am descended from a long line of Frenchmen who took the "you only live once" mantra to the max. I think everyone on the male side of my family history partied their ass off and travelled whenever possible throughout their young years, which is exactly what I've been trying to achieve recently. :D
Life could suck hard, if it doesn't, take advantage. Someone is stupid enough to pay me to sit in front of a computer with a T3 line all day, and hot damn If I'm not gonna rape them silly till they realise the error of their ways. :stongue: :stongue: |

so parents who love you and want you to do well are going to cut you off from the education where you are doing well? Sounds like they don't actually love you at all.

Lol, so did I. Big time.
But, it's a little different here in Australia. Study-wise, anyway. |

I've had many jobs thank you.. I'm not just a free loading little bitch complaining about being cut off. I'm upset because my parents are ripping me from the life I'm finally happy with to live one they think is "acceptable".
RJT, easy killer, last time I checked I've been nothing but nice to you so stop being such a hater. Sorry I'm not one of your happy little pets that only makes you smile when you sign onto these boards because no matter where I live I still have the internet :D
I'm moving home. It sucks. My life may not be the hardest but its a big ing change for me so I'm sorry if some of you think its pathetic.

well for me that is not asking for a lot.. my 22 year old brother hasn't had a job since he was 16, has a 2,000$/month rent, has his own car, lives in Miami and goes to a mad expensive school [compared to my 2k a year college] and does nothing with his life.. so yeah.. asking for less than 2k in 2 months does seem like nothing to me.
Hes perfect. He has a girlfriend.. is getting married soon and "has real career goals".
. seriously |
