The thing is, that those who have hardware can also use software. So for them its a win win situation.

Exactly, if you have software you don't need any expensive over rated hardware. Let those folks overpay for their stupid hardware synths while you are saving money and making great tunes.

Stay away from hardware, there are better ways to waste your hard earned cash.

Since people can make good music with FLStudio, People can make good music without hardware.

On a second note, I entered a beta to get [i think] a piece of hardware, if its spiffy I will be using it :P

I didn't call anyone dumb, but I guess if you have loads of virtual analogs with a crappy converter you might deserve that epithet.

The reality is that Software wins because its ing FREE.

Software synths cost money too, around 200 average cost.

Double or triple that price and you have a shining synth standing in your room.

If I still had a 303 Id use it. I was dumb "well, i use flstudio 2 now and it has everything, don't need this piece of garage sale junk" What an idiot.

ok one thing i noticed is that software sounds lifeless compared to hardware then again how do you add life to software, i'm sure the pro's here can answer that.
