In addition to the existing bathrooms, just a couple of these in each VIP room would have made all the difference. Please send my consultant's cheque in the mail :p |
no, 3-4 years ago they had that and it smelled like ass!!! plus having 15 lineups was kinda a lame in the vip. |

I used to love Deadmau5 for his old releases such are Longest Road, Faxing Berlin (looping fest haha), I remember, Arguru and Finished Symphony but then he went nut and turned himself into recycledmau5 and started producing WAY TOO MANY tracks with the same bassline. Seriously, How many tracks did he releases in '08?? |
I wake up every morning on "Virgin 96" (mix96) and every fukin morning around 7 they play Deadmau5 - Move for me..... EVERY IN MORNING around the same in time !
WHY ?!?! |

What happened to the theme this year? I thought we would see some giant green trees or at least some blue recycling bins? Really? The theme this year was "Recession".
Tip: If you guys want V.I.P just bring in a white bracelet...i wore a white bracelet and the security was a joke! Never got checked and partied it up in the V.I.P house room for the remainder of the night.
The time slots this year were a tad off! I totally agree that Victor should have either started before Axwell or after! His set was deep chunky progressive house, awesome to dance too but just didn't it in me to keep going! I don't understand why he had to close again this year? To comparing his set with Deadmaus, they both should have traded time slots. For Axwell, a unique style of house, imo he had his high and low points throughout his set, however, i really couldn't get into the groove of it.
As for the tech room, Markus definitely conquered the night! He came well prepared and it was bomb after bomb! The crowd was digging his set, and he set the bar really high for the other acts to come on. The only complaint i have to say about his set was his opener? He played a partial part from u2 -New year's day but cut it off short with a banging dark track...at first i was like "is this new year's again?"
As for Above and Beyond i was really surprised! I thought they would start off with some soft fluff that they usually do but they really kept the transition and tempo from markus. After about 20mins i was in and out from the tech and house room but from what i heard from above and beyond i really enjoyed!
For Armin, I had really high expectations since last year! However, a complete Tiiiiiiimmmmmbbbbberrrrrr after about 45mins...Why in hell does this guy get 4.5 hrs of play time like holy smokes! I really wasn't digging his set at all...played a lot of cheese and fluff everytime i went in to see him! Complete 360 from last year! It's always a hit and miss with AVB! Dont BOOK him again! Especially giving him more time to spin! From the looks of it imo i thought he looked really restless and unpresentable!
Overall it would was great to see all the t.a's again...malek, illnada, coxx, eterno, 84th, zeksg, trancegal, robbiej, yankeebaby,ect...like they say it's not about the music for this party but the ppl you party with!
Tunes of the night:
1. The Killers - Spaceman (Sander Van Doorn mix - part 2)
2. Andrew Bennett vs. Tatana feat. Tiff Lacey - Closer (Than A Heartbeat) (Gareth Emery Remix)
3. Bartlett & Dyor - Floating Beyond (Lange Remix)
P.S. By far the vocals were raped in the techroom |
