Rednex was just one of those bands that weren't even good for lulz, so awful and irritating it hurts.

The mixing might be bumpy once or twice, but what I noticed more is how you do longer transitions than I'm used to (and try to do myself). Not to say I didn't like it, just something that struck me as interesting.

yeah, i like to mix it up (hrhr) do some short ones when it's just passing the vibe forward and when you have tracks that need that extra layer of beats during the verses or whatever you can keep energy and drive tracks for the better. it's all depending on the tracks you are working with.

Yeah, I wasn't really focusing on the mixing, I was more or less trying to say "Wow, this stuff sounds really hard to mix, especially the way you were going about it. Props to you, I know I couldn't do it".

this just blew my mind. it's good how you managed work in the different flavours of what was considered progressive house through out the 90's. you kicked it off quite hard and kept it driving and then let it mellow down and then built up tension and just released it in a big way with the bir remix of your loving arms. well ing done.

Yeah, I really enjoyed this. The intro was spectacular, and the Bedrock mix of Intoxication was even better than I expected. I've realised I actually own it on the "Jackpot Presents Guerilla" compilation but I can't have played that disc to the end. The mixing was mostly spot-on, although the mix from Climbatize into Your Loving Arms sounded a bit messy.

Great stuff, overall.

lolol Chipmunk Haddaway :wtf: :stongue:

Bara tjugofem minuter in i den här, och redan bombaderad med nostalgia.

It's amazing how much I have listened to some of these tracks in my childhood and now I've forgotten them completely. It's such a beautiful feeling when you remember them and fall in love all over again. :)

No comments on the mixing, but overall this is so inyourface I can't but love it :p

På riktigt? Men nu har jag väl talat Svenska med dig också?

Alla vänner och nästan hela släkten är nog helt Finsk, men jag gick grundskolan på Svenska ändo, så det är mitt modersmål. :)

Okay, mine is done. I was a bit limited financially with this one, as I could only afford a certain amount of tracks (especially ones I probably won't ever play again), so the early flow is not exactly perfect. That's the problem with Beatport/etc. samples: you can hear what the track sounds like, but not how it builds or progresses.

I was a bit liberal with my definition of "tech house", hence the title. I wanted to take it away from current connotations as the middle ground between minimal techno and deep house, and closer towards techno and acid house boundaries. There's at least one track here that's definitely pushing the definition, but honestly I don't care.

I think the tracklist is a blend of well known and obscure names, but I could be totally wrong.

Subversion [Tech House]
1. Trentemoller - Prana [Audiomatique]
2. Dr Track - Dark Beat [Deep Trip]
3. X-Press 2 - Kill 100 (Carl Craig Remix) [Skint]
4. Joshua Harrison - Radiation Rules The Nation [Beretta Red]
5. Emanuele Di Sante - Deep Xperience [Starbeat]
6. The Minimum - Aritmica [Attary]
7. Christian Smith & John Selway - Redeye (Arpeggio Mix) [Viva]
8. Peter Munch - Landing On Planet Bass (Landing Acidy Style) [Cosmopolitan]
9. The Sabres Of Paradise - Smokebelch II (David Holmes Remix) [Sabres Of Paradise]
